Nick Viall - Bachelor 21 - Episode 1 - Jan 1st - Jan 2nd - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

Oh, I think their story line brings the audience two fold. Those who want to see him rejected and those who want to see him finally find the love he's always wanted. I'm not sure what other way they could achieve that in previews??

ETA: Off topic sort of, I just pray that Vanessa(proposed F1) can handle the journey Nick must take being the Lead. I loved loved Emily but this show was not a good fit for her at all. I never understood Emily's insecurity regarding Brad and Chantal.

For all we know and pure speculation on my part, maybe Reality Booger tried to fish info from Emily and told her he had proof that Brad picked Chantal and the proof was they had Thanksgiving together. We know he goes on fishing expositions and she is/was not the brightest bulb. IMO

That makes as much sense as anything. A very dim bulb shining on her part, but it was what it was. I am happy she found what she apparently needed, though.

Okay, back to Nick. May his journey end the best possible way for him, where ever that leads.

yeah that is my take on it too. Many already called it here as well that TPTB might try to insinuate the F1 at FRC rejecting the lead with it being Nick due to his back story. I think it is their way to play up the controversy and keep naysayers interested in that they will hope to see him rejected again. I think if the rejected at the end thing was a reality they wouldn't outright mention it right to the audience in the preview show. JMO.

That how I saw it too. I think it is to keep show fans who are not Nick fans interested by giving hope that they will get to see him rejected again and this time as lead. Nothing in Nick's SM/articles/interviews so far indicate that this acutal rejection scenario occurred IMO.

I was staring at my TV with a smile on my face for the entire 10-15 minutes wherein they were showing Nick's journey till now. He has truly come a long way. I can't wait for him to find his person and see the love reciprocated.

Nick is left-handed? How did I not know this after so many tv appearances (perhaps I forgot after all this time  )

IMO the preview theme is about moving beyond past heartbreak in order find love.

Edit interpretation

Nick voiceover while walking to the FRC location (including a reindeer hitched to a post ) -
"Everything has led to this moment (edit splice) so I can prove to America that if you don't give up on love eventually you'll find it"
(moves inside with talk about past then shot of ring)
Nick voiceover while standing to presumably meet his F1
" And I believe my heart is bringing me to the right place"
Edit switch to seaplane over water then -
Montage: girls on street, with Rachel in NOLA dancing with umbrellas, with Vanessa lying on yacht deck, with Vanessa kissing while standing on yacht (during which group voices then all the same girl voiceover)

- other scenes

Then seaplane over water appears again -
Montage: with Vanessa kissing on anti-gravity date (seaplane appears as an overlay on this clip), seaplane banking, Vanessa ITM  (Vanessa voiceover during all)

Yes, there is a lot of other stuff that follows but I think Raven's statement about Nick possibly not finding a wife at the end of the preview is answered in the beginning of the preview.  Interesting that the edit leads with clips from the final epi IMO. Could represent the beginning of the end of Nick's unlucky streak.

That's my take.

Was anyone else a bit surprised that they clearly showed Rachel in Finland in the previews? Guess they don't care about the suspense anymore.

I feel like a moron for just now realizing the woman who had Nick sign her stomach was actually producer Adam Mansfield's wife. That somehow makes it slightly less awkward. But just slightly.
