I love them too, hope they're the real deal. Always knew Laura was very witty, and early on was beginning to see how invested she was, but she really knocked it out of the park for me vulnerability-wise in the finale.... How sad that some of the trolls can't see beyond her wit and nervous talking to see a person who IMO is no way the arrogant person they make her out to be, jmo...

I hope they make it as well.  I think for me the main reason i love them is because it did feel real and Laura to me showed so much raw emotion which reminded me so much of how Vanessa grimaldi was towards Nick.  They both cried at the MTP about being in love, and the thought of not being with the men they love   I just loved her openness about falling in love with matty and scared to loose him but still wanted him to be happy! it just got me i was a mess Also i think i could tell Matty was pulling all the stops with Laura to get her to open up because he himself was already there IMO

They just look like the real deal to me, and a super cute couple to boot. I hope they make it long term too because they seem like a great match. They've both received a lot of negative stuff on SM but it's been nice finally to start to see the mood sway now to a much more positive vibe. I never understood the negativity to start with. Like @Billysmom said, I really like how Laura put herself out there in the finale, having to be OK with whatever outcome. That said a lot to me.

I know Matty has had to backtrack in the media a little to clarify his remarks about how soon he knew it was Laura, but rewatching that first SD confirms he was ridiculously giddy about her from the get-go. He looks almost shocked during the ITM. I do think he was between a rock and a hard place though at that point in terms of having to see out the rest of the season.

Not sure if others have seen it, but I just read this lovely interview on the Who website. IMO, it dispels some of the misleading ideas about them as a couple. And so nice to hear them speak as "we" and "us".

Posted in the general thread too....yesterday I emailed Alisha at tonimay cause I'm not on social media....got a very lovely and personal reply! Seems our lovebirds are very very happy!!!!

Btw, I know Elise has great legs, but Laura's pins aren't too shabby either, jmo...

Btw, babygotbach, I totally saw the similarities between Laura and Vanessa also, as they were both all-in and very high energy (which had a mixed reception for each in the house)and very vulnerable and fearful of getting hurt from early on. The Mtp dates were so moving with each of them!!!! But when Nissa broke up I was afraid to bring up the resemblance for fear of jinxing mataura. Long live mataura!!!!

Matty looks so relaxed and happy in those pap photo.
I think he can finally be himself now that the season is over and he doesn't have to be "the bachelor" anymore. I love to see this boyish charming Matty again.
