It kinda makes sense if he is f1. She is somebody that likes to be liked. Need, perhaps. When Richies ended and all that vitriol came out against Alex and Richie, she was worried that her story would end with the same reaction. So, by saying, there's a slow burn to look out for, she's saying "hey! There's something that happens later on - don't pick favourites yet!" That's my take on it.

If he isn't f1, then she was just drumming up some interest in her story and separating herself from Richies season.

Maybe now I do think she could kiss Matty under the Bell of Happiness and then dump him. All IMO

She is bound to be. Her responses are going to get more and more "scripted", she will kiss them when they are pouring out their hearts etc., she has to continue to lead them on till the end.
IMO around about now the leads are already into 1 person more than the other and they play out the rest of the season while cementing their relationship with the eventual choice. There is no really other way to explain this.
We're approaching the bad portion of this show because now the drama and the comedic relief pretty much starts drying up. leaving the lead to fake it or make it. .

G won't be the first lead that will look ecstatic and kiss a contestant and then proceed to dump him or her. In the US version they have even slept with a contestant and put them into a limo the next day.

This is part of the show. G is not to be blamed.

Great posts everyone - lots of realistic interpretations of what is going on at the sticky end of the TV romance business.

I totally agree! Maybe she will be like Jojo, the boys will tell her that they love her and she will be like 'aaaww...thank you', 'aaw..i appreciate that', like in this funny video from Jimmy Kimmel idk if you guys have seen it, it was hilarious.

I do think that Georgia's dilemma is to follow her heart or reciprocate the heart's of others that are more interested in her than she is in them. I think with Courtney she was chasing but he never reciprocated so she is over it in the next ep. She likes being liked and fought for but I don't know if her reactions are towards those saying they will do so or because she wants the guys she is truly interested in to fight a bit more for her and so she feels conflicted about what to do...

In the end, I think she will just follow her heart.

Your husband is a very wise man. I totally respected how Courtney and Cam confessed to Georgia about their doubts. I would feel the same in their situation. Not everyone can be like Lee, Matty and Jake who are ALL IN. Unfortunately, Courtney and Cam would be "punished" for being more reserved and realistic about the whole situation. Let's face it, Lee, Matty and Jake are actually more careless with their feelings knowing there's a high chance they would be dumped on national TV. They make for more entertaining TV on a show like this for sure but I absolutely respected C and C for being honest about their feelings.

I agree with everyone that we are entering the not-so-pleasant part of the show where favorites will be dumped. And Georgia can only fake her smile or excitement so much, so I think we will see some cracks in the veneer. The bromances (my favorite part of the show, TBH) are also dwindling down and not much fun left to be had between the contestants. I felt real tension in the room when Lee was picked for the SD instead of Jake. I could tell Lee was trying not to show his excitement too much in front of Jake and Jake was trying so hard to appear happy for Lee when he actually looked crushed. It's just a bit painful to watch, especially between these generally nice men.

This could be the issue going forward. I honestly cannot 100% call the winner right now. I am 60% - 40% in favour of Lee. Hopefully we get a clearer picture at the end of HTD but Georgi sure is difficult to read!

I reckon JoJo and Georgia are Bette's from different planets... Even though it was so obvious the whole season Jordan was going to win - it wasn't a romance you could root for. Any time the franchise has to address a contestant's external cheating scandal you've already lost me.

By contrast, Georgia seems really open and is able to see beyond initial attraction to see if a guy can work for her needs in the long-term. Even if Lee the obvious connections wins, it feels like all options were explored

don't get me wrong I totally agree, Georgia is much better lead. I was just referring to the part of season we are going into when the answers may not be really genuine at this point and the 'queen' of these answers was jojo imo

She really did explore! She even said in an interview that the guys were so great that she felt stupid saying to them you are not for me. There was only going to be one winner and i truly appreciate the fact that she was respectful enough to the guys and the viewers to give each relationship a fair chance. Even Courtney's.
