This last episode was actually very interesting in terms of what G is saying to the guys and the little nuances in where it appears the story is heading. For all the f6 guys. It's one of those gold episodes. Jmo.

Yes, I can't deny Jake is smooth and he plays his boyish charm to the max. It's all in the eye contact. He and Alex could give lessons on the art of seduction.

To me Jake is the smooth operator and playing to win. His comments about him being "number one" with the BTS photoshoot along with him saying it's not the first letter he has written but him saying he didn't write it for just "any" girl definitely makes me think he knows what words to use with women to win them.

It reminds me of Alex who was seen as seductive and able to get the men and for this alone I can see Jake as F1 going by how he is able to seduce Georgia, even the way he danced with her was way more seductive and physical than the other men as Georgia said herself.

One thing I always keep in mind is that the AU shows are not like the US shows since there are no overnights and no sex.

So the fact that most AU franchise F1s are those who have the most physical attraction/connection shown I think plays a very big role and why I don't look anymore at who has the most emotional or deep connection shown but who has the most chemistry shown (although these things are all subjective, of course).

Not to be crass, but in a way, I think the F1 is the person the lead wants to sleep with the most by FRC time since they can't do so on the show so their reason for choosing their F1 doesn't have to be an emotional connection, deep connection, or anything like that and the F1 can actually have what can be seen as a shallow or superficial connection if their physical connection is the strongest.

Yes yes yes, IA with this. Georgia is obviously a physical/affectionate person and she has often been the one to initiate the kissing. Plus I have noticed she likes to 'keep going' if the boys start to back off - I love the fact that she really gets into it

She was a flushed/giggling mess after kissing Jake and his dance with her was so intimate it was almost uncomfortable to watch. A bit OTT for my liking compared to the dignified romance of the other dances (incl Matty) but Jake's definitely tapped into that primal part of her brain.

Interesting that she chose Cam for the SQT though, especially since it would have been really obvious who was who (by height alone but also smell, hair, body frame etc). I wonder if that was her decision or if the producers nudged her to choose Cam?

I guess we'll have a lot to discuss after the f9 episode.

I still say that if she was that interested in Jake she would have given him a second SD psrticularly since his was the first of the season and by now, long ago.
She gave both Courtney and Matty almost neck and neck dates.
Lee gets a full day. Heck even Cam got SQT time albeit dancing time. She would have known she was picking him based on the height only.

She still chose not to. Even SQT time in ep9 tells that spending the full day with him is not her priority.

The fact that she gave them both neck and neck dates could be because she had questions about these guys that she wanted answers on (whereas she did not need that time to know what she had with Lee and Jack. Matty also didn't have a full length date so that could explain his. We also have no clue how much time she spends with the guys during group dates and Rose ceremony time.

I reckon by now she knows who her F1 is, the rest of guys story is left scripted by TPTB to fill in ths episodes. Theres alot hidden obviously but if in her SM interview stated she has been watching with her f1their story play out (noting she watched the 1st 2 episodes with her friends) then how can it be Jake when they had no story shown from Episode 2 onwards? Also interesting in Matty Js sleuthing board there are screencaps of him and G's boat dance date which has them kissing and huggiing plenty but they didnt show on the episode 8, only during the night portion. The photos looked like it was off camera time ..

A lot of F1s have the storyline of... shown in beginning... hidden middle... makes comeback by FRC

Also, Courtney got a 2nd SD but doesn't seem to be in F3 per sleuthing and yet Jake does so just getting a 2nd SD doesn't mean much, based on that.

A lot could happen on HTDs, FDs, etc to make Georgia (someone who has said her journey is more up and down than past leads) make her decision as she goes along.

IMO it's not the fact that Jake didn't get a second SD, it's more like 3 other guys got second SDs instead of him which is noteworthy.

Trying to rationalize this because Jake's lack of time is perplexing to me as well.

Maybe she got to know enough of Jake based solely on that first individual date but needed to figure out more with the other guys? IMO her first date with Jake had more substance than what we saw with the other first dates. At least what the editors decided to show us. She didn't kiss Court and was unsure of the romantic connection. She wanted to see if it was more than just fun with Matty. etc.

Jake may of been her intense chemistry at first sight, but along the way she listened to the feelings of her heart rather than the view from her eyes. But they keep him enough to play the role of the hidden frontrunner and enough to keep the viewers and sleuthers to 2nd guess and doubt the obvious love plot.
