I always assumed he provided a legit ED therapy but reading that it sounds shady as heck.

Aren't there regulations on what's acceptable for advertising?

We are regulated to death, I'm petrified of ordering business cards to ensure they are within the proper guidelines.

It's too bad he has to pay that kind of cash but OTOH no one should be allowed to advertise in a misleading manner IMHO.

He violated laws prohibiting deceptive advertising, so that's why he is settling a charge of violating laws. So, yes, there are laws - and very specific guidance around medical claims in particular.
