JoJo Fletcher - Jordan Rodgers - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion - #2

I love jokes regardless of whether or not I like the people the joke's about. I like them both and I'll clown Jordan for his dumb (imo) sports takes, but I really can't think of anything to make fun of Jo about. There's just not that much to snark on these two about IMO.

I'm so thankful I don't follow fan accounts and my favs don't have any. Lol

I think part of the reason I could never get on the JoJo train is the constant beating over the head that she is soooooo amazing, and perfect, and above it all. Dating back to even before her own season. The OTT adoration makes me kinda meh on her in general. On paper, I really like how Jordan and JoJo have run their relationship. I think they both show signs of logevity. I appreciate a lot about them. But I just can't fan them. And I don't have a good reason other than, again, the OTT adoration and attitude she/they can do no wrong.  I realize I'm weird and probably alone in my thoughts here.

You're not alone, and even if you were, that's what GD discussion threads are for.

I never cared for JoJo on Ben's season. She seemed spaced out to me all the time. She didn't appear very confident and came across to me wishy washy. With the family background of being on another reality TV show, then later the brothers rant when Ben visited, and JoJo's flowers or letter or whatever it was from her ex. That whole scene was so scripted and she did IMO a rotten job. It just turned me off, all of them.  I didn't care for Jordan, I wasn't attracted to him, I had no idea who he was or who his family was.

The two of them together, have proven LiarBoy and rag mags all wrong. However they are for me, just another couple. They are a nice couple, they went back to their lives and it's apparent he adores her. They are building a life together, I would enjoy looking at wedding pics if they get married, and I give them credit in their fan thread for various reasons, because they do deserve it IMO

I hope for her sake they don't break up because IMO I'm not sure how strong she is. It's my opinion that Jordan is more polished, more business media savy and I think he's the one that she is learning from to be herself, or find herself.

Otherwise I picture her with Becca eating junk food and botoxing up the ying yang. JMHO's.

You mean, now we too, the crazy obsessed Bach fans can turn a profit on this too? What a time to be alive.   If I had no shame, I'd jump on this. But no way would I start some crazy fan account and have my real life people questioning my sanity.

It's true. I follow this Justin Bieber update account on twitter (i am not ashamed ) and they have like 500K followers, and they're out here shilling too.

ETA: per my fun idea of saying a positive for someone you don't really fan, and a negative for someone you do... I'll start with some postives for JoJo and Jordan:

1. Thank you for going back to normalish life.
2. Kudos Jordan holding and finding real employment.
3. JoJo has always been kind and gracious.

I have plenty of negatives I could say about some of my faves, but this probably isn't the place and I don't want to start a total mess for the mod team.  (But seriously, can we have a thread for this? )

Oh, it's true

These fan accounts grab picture or sightings of the couples really quick, so if anything needs to be brought over to the fan thread, it's just easier to grab the link from there. I literally couldn't believe it when I saw they were shilling fancy water bottles and clothes from a certain boutique. Must be nice, huh? These fan accounts have more followers than half of the contestants get each season  it's wild!

I mean, it could be worse as I think there are far worse people in bachelor nation for sure IMO. I do think Becca's a nice girl and Robert seems great, but Becca can be immature at times, so she's not always my cup of tea. Thankfully she only sees her every few months.

I agree on this. IMO Becca is the one who goes a bit OTT. haha yes im happy JoJo sees her not so much
even when Becca is snapping her when they're together, Jo gets real annoyed.

I concur. IMO becca calculates her every action against how much attention it'll net her, including her friendship with Jojo, and her always needing to remind everyone that they're 'besties' & I think Jojo's been very naive in not recognizing it. JMO.

I agree. Becca has to be taken in doses, too much of her has the potential to be toxic, IMO. I'm happy that JoJo is still close with her "normal" friends who are not a part of the bach family. This, I believe helps to keep her grounded, IMO.

Negative for Jordan...Some of his answers during the show seemed a tad shady.

Positive for Lauren...I got nothin'. Just kidding
