I can't believe Wells chose Ashley over Jami. I have to think he was encouraged to do so. Ashley looks more masculine than Wells, IMO.

And here is Wells faking it. I wonder what the incentive was to get him to agree to give his rose to her or he just didn't care about enough about Jami to bother to fight for her.
