Clancy has a practical view on relationships

Clancy doesn't believe in "The One".

He has been single for a year-and-a-half now. But, 29-year-old Queensland medical sales rep Clancy says he was totally in love with his last girlfriend. Things just didn’t work out.

“She was an awesome chick and we got along really well,” he says. “I was in love with her, but I just don’t think that we were compatible in a relationship.

“If you can’t come together and can’t see eye-to-eye on the relationship perspective, you’re just missing the mark.”

Lucky for Clancy, he has a more pragmatic view when it comes to relationships and doesn’t believe in the idea of “the one”.

“No, I believe there are a few compatible people, but not many,” he says.

Both Jake and security specialist Matt D, 29, are all for wedded bliss, too; however, Clancy says it isn’t really his thing. ‘I’d do it to make her happy. l don’t think marriage defines a relationship,’ he admits.
