I worry Matty will put his whole heart on the line only for it to be broken. He's so genuinely in love, it's breaking my heart just thinking of his little face when she turns him down if he's F2.

I can't imagine GL will just go with whoever says the nicest things though. I give her a lot more credit than that. I can see her falling madly in love with either Lee or Matty, depending how their next two dates go. I think a lot is going to be revealed about all the connections that have been hidden from us to this point over the next two nights, and her final decision will make perfect sense. I hope so anyway.

I also hope so and agree that Matty is most likely to say it loud and clear! He has been the only contestant so far to mention the cameras directly (croquet date)!

Lee is very dorky and his personality is definitely not smooth. Almost a case of looking different on the outside than how he is.

Out of the two, Lee is definitely the less smooth one. For someone so good-looking I can feel some self consciousness when he's speaking. Matty is very outgoing and an extrovert (Lee is more of an introvert), not sure if that can be seen as smooth to some people?

Georgia appears very outgoing and quite high energy as is Matty. Lee is more reserved but not introverted. Georgia and Matty together would be fire. Georgia and Lee more balanced. JMO on the Lee train still

IA - it's most likely not Lee but just putting it out there the possibility of either guy

I agree with this. I was trying to judge who she would pick based on her previous bfs that have come out in the media - all seem to be cheeky, high energy boyish types, and from her IG pics it definitely seems Georgia likes to party.

G & M would be fun fun fun and totally hot together - he definitely seems more her 'type'. But maybe she'll choose Lee because he's not her usual type - after all, those previous relationships obviously haven't worked out.

In an earlier interview Georgia said watching how she met her guy on the first day and what they said to each other and how she felt still gives her butterflies and she is happy to have that documented( not verbatim). That sounds like Lee to me considering she didnt even think much of Matty on that first day.
I will try to find the interview..its somewhere on this board

I think Lee will be the heartbroken one. From the previews and s/caps I think he is initiating most of the kisses and talking about how he has never felt like this before for anyone. It all seems to tie into him being scared of being heartbroken and getting hurt and feels like he will, imo.

That's what is crazy is because Lee is the only contestant that we have seen tell Georgia he is scared of getting hurt. And then Lee's mother says to Georgia she is worried about Lee getting hurt. So two times Georgia has been told face-to-face about getting hurt. In reply, Georgia said to his mom she wouldn't take him (anyone?) further if she didn't think she had a future with them and wouldn't make them think otherwise.

In Matty's case, he talked to his sister about getting hurt but not to Georgia. It looks like he may do so in the next episode possibly but not before that like Lee has.

I reckon TPTB want viable F1/F2 and the F2 to be Bach and Bette --> makes for a better lead narrative i reckon

I am on the Lee train but don't think he's F1.

I just hope Lee doesn't get a bad edit. Sheesh! After all the bullying he went through growing up and then being vulnerable and scared about heartbreak with Georgia, that they could make him look bad just to prop up Georgia (if they decided to change the edit due to Richie's backlash ending) then I will really feel bad for Lee.

At this point I wish Lee was F3

I think she just said she couldn't wait to watch the first ep and see the first time she clocks eyes on the love of her life, and she hopes she'll hear the first words they said to each other because not many people have that.

In the IV I read there was no talk of first meeting butterflies... so still could be either.
