Exactly! She said at the beginning of the date that she "really liked him" plus her outfit was different in the itm.

The biting of his cheek reminded me a bit of Art when he was around Matty. I see similar BL and nerves/interest here with these too.

[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] Nikki's video on FB makes me think it could be pointing towards her as F1 and her story with Richie. I see a journey between these two and a storyline that keeps progressing. Will see, but atm I still see Nikki as F1.

IA - I've been thinking about them and Olena quite bit today - just nodding my head every so often in boring meetings to keep up appearances - and I have few thoughts.

Apologies moderators if this is a little crass but Olena is essentially every boys wet dream.

She is a stunning beauty, she is mysterious, she is foreign, she is smart, she is sweet and she gives you just enough of herself to keep you coming back for more.

I wonder if Richie is a little too in awe of her - like "I can't believe the beauty queen likes me" kind of thing - and that might delay and influence his reaching and solidifying a deeper connection with her.

I totally agree with you! He believes she is out of his league. The reality is I just don't see him and Olena's lifestyles working out in real life. She is the fantasy girl and Nikki is his girl. All in my opinion. Also when is the last time the girl labeled dark horse was F1? The person I could think of was Cathrine cause she was hidden but after the snow date it was over for me. I knew she won!

IMO Richie sees himself as a dag/goofball and having such a mysterious, sophisticated and exotic beauty tantilising him with getting closer and making deeper connection would (to me) be irrestible .

Rewatching Richie and Nikki's date the difference I see in his physical advances to Olena and Nikki are:

1. With Olena he is more masculine and assertive in wanting to draw her in an kiss her, like he is wanting to prove he is man enough for her to open up, be with, love

2 With Nikki he is soft, absolutely 100% engaged with everything she's saying and does not break eye contact with her. To me there is a soul connection when you make eye contact like that and really saying "I see you".

This is just my opinion and whatever happens I hope he is happy beyond words. I know I would be if someone looked at me like that :sweetheart:

ITA with each assessment of Olena. I also see her as the exotic fantasy, just out of reach and so always intriguing. It's why I think the intrigue may play a bigger role and why Olena to me has a typical "mystery/intrigue" edit that seems to be typical for a lot of F2s, imo, as it just never goes much further than that.

I also agree that "darkhorse" doesn't indicated F1 usually and I will be surprised if if does in Richie's case. I see a better "fit" with Richie and Nikki and to me they are more on the same wavelength and page in life, imo.

Many many years ago, in my youth - I assure you I was very young! - there was a movie called Weird Science. You are probably all too young to remember it. But to me, Olena is Lisa, played by the very sexy and refined Kelly Le Brock and Richie is the one of the nerdy boys.

When she walked towards him that first night looking so elegant and cosmopolitan I was reminded of that movie and thought there is no way the Oh Crikey Cool Bananas Richie we know will end up with this sophisticated woman.

I ran out of charge last night during the Rose ceremony but poor Faith broke my heart. She is going to be beside herself when she is eliminated. Alex looked shocking too at the rose ceremony. She does go from stunning to ...not stunning IMO. I've been thinking of Alex a lot and the word that springs to mind is seductress. But she not a seductress I think she is trying to be a seductress. It just seems disingenuous and sad really. Rachael is still not getting a favourable edit and still can't warm to her and Kiki was just all class last night. Love that girl. I too agree with all above re Olena

Hmmm, interestingly. Yes, I would describe Richie "a nerdy", shy guy in awe of a beautiful woman when he was talking to SamFro, not Olena.
With Olena he is a man of the situation, actually very confident within himself, just curious about her, wouldn't even call it worried, more like fascinated ... once he gets his answers.

Curious is the word I would use too. The closest attraction I can think of is Sam W with Lana IMO
