Bachelor Australia - Season 4 - Richie Strahan - Episode Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* #2

I have been leaning more towards Nikki from about episode four or so but I also like Olena and would be happy with either. Honestly I don't care much for Steph or Rachel anyone else works for me. Richie has been such a joy to watch and I am team faith for ette!

I agree, I have watched the episode again on mute and his facial expression and body language are different. I also noticed that while Richie was doing the private overview his hair was shorter and IMO he was downplaying the connection. The VO also indicated not F1 with "girl next door" comments. I can also see Olena now whispering "I love you" by the end.

Yeah I agree about the whispering "I love you" I can only really see Alex or Olena whispering it?...

Just wanted to point out that Richie can't exactly say 'I love you' back even if he is feeling it - that would just give it all away! He did say something along the lines of 'you are a perfect match' to Nikki. I honestly thought I was looking at two people in love, and already in a relationship. He also initiated the kiss when they were slow dancing and I am sure that he has before too, just that we aren't shown that. I don't believe it is one-sided and I was also watching body language, not just words. Would he really say that to her if he wasn't going to choose her? Cause if he doesn't choose her, there will be backlash that he led her on IMO. We all see different things, and that's not a bad thing. Just wanted to mention this for those that haven't given up on Nikki and Richie!

I forget who posted this before but IA that all leads will face some sort of backlash on this show. I still enjoy Richie as I did on the "Ette but it seems there is a lot of folks on the show FB page that are giving him backlash already on leading the girls on. Unfortunately, the final 3 girls always almost feel led on but Richie can't declare how he feels or tell any girl not to fall for him before the finale. I always feel bad for all the girls that don't get chosen on the long run but I just don't see what Richie (or any other lead) can do to alleviate this issue that is fundamental to the entire franchise, hopefully the girls that don't get chosen get the much needed psychological help and with time are able to move on....all jmo.

What is tonights group date activity? Is there going to be one?

Episode guide that was posted references only 2 girls will be so lucky....so I assumed just 2 single dates but who knows if there is a group date also....i only saw a preview of Faith's date on the show twitter page....it's going to be awesome, can't wait to watch it

Hmmm interesting hey. We also haven't had a 2 for 1 date so far and if it's not tonight (and traditionally they are early in the season) we may not have one. The only scap I could put to a 2to1 is the go carting if it is Steph and not Olena but I think it's Likely to be Olena. Perhaps is Rachael and the beach/garden date?

I think the go carting might actually be the group date because u see a sc of faith and Richie kissing her forehead on the carriage might be the same group date as Richie seems to be wearing the same clothes in both scaps

The thing is, Nikki didn't say to Richie's face that she has fallen in love. It was in an itm that could have been after filming, closer to the end so who really knows?

He was definitely initiating intimacy with her - he gave her an extra squeeze when they hugged hello, he held her hand, he put his hands on her knee, he pulled her into the slow dance and was the first to lean in for the kiss AND he gave her complete eye contact when she was talking about her feelings and IMO it looked as though he was trying to keep a very big smile off his face while she was talking to him.
