I keep thinking of what Chris' mom said at the end of his hometown date - something like "it's magic". It really does seem magical that two great people would find each other and have a happily ever after on this show! I remember Chris marveling how hard Des works, after they moved in together. If ever there was karma on The Bachelor, Des and Chris have to be it!

You know what I keep thinking about?  I wonder if it is available to be viewed anywhere.  I think early in the show (maybe the first episode, before the M&G), Chris is shown on his cellphone excitedly telling his mom "It's Des!"  It showed that she is who he was hoping would be the lead.  It gives me goosies just remembering that!

Chris was just a rock to her and so positive all season, getting along with all the guys, not picking fights or steaming in jealousy. He was so certain of his feelings for her and their future as a couple. And, just such a gentleman with no ex girlfriends trashing him in tabloids. What a guy!!

Posted by Des's interior designer friend. They just did baby boy's nursery and I'm sure it was filmed for a little project with Lowes Home Improvement (like her office makeover last year). Check back in for that in the next few days.

@MVMom39forever, reading your post has given me flash backs to those early days when Mura was so certain Chris was F1. Popping in here & seeing how these two have panned out in RL is such a joy.

@Blueberry it's really awesome that you are keeping their thread alive & a big   for that. I wish you & poster Murasaki had crossed paths when she was still posting here as she was all sold on the Des/Chris meant to be fairy tale from the very onset.
