Call me cynical, but I wonder if contestants have any control over their SM at all during the airing of the show. There have been several examples of Instagram photos being deleted, re-uploaded, captions changed, Tweets being sent and then deleted... it's definitely not "normal" social media behaviour IMO.

Remember "snapchat gate" on US kaitlyn! SM has come so far in the tech world that you don't have to hire a "personal assistant" to tweet, FB, IG there is software that does it for you

Have you noticed that both the producers are following all the guys.  And I imagine there is a Sm person that monitors it to ensure they arent giving anything away. They just put the AU contestants on lock down now which is even more odd

The more this week draws out the more I'm excited Mikhel might be the next bachelor - he's starting to grow on me as a potential next bach. we already know that mikhel himself is very self-aware and reflective and finding out how close he is with kevin p who also seems to be quite the contemplative guy.. Reflective + communicative + an interesting/intelligent/deep lead is always compelling for me. I enjoyed Ben H, Sean, Ashley H, Georgia Love, Jasmine and coming soon I'm sure I'll enjoy...Nick's season as well. Mikhel I think would make that kind of lead and I think that will make a great show.

I want me some Mikhel as lead.

IMO the story narration is more bolded and clear for Mikhel...showing their relationship progression and important benchmarks of their journey, while for Kevin its more ambiguous. One thing stood out to me is the HTD narration. This is super important benchmark for both guys since both have professed their love to Jas. Let's see :
- Mikhel's : 14/15. On his hometown date, Mikhel takes a leap of faith and tells Jasmine that he loves her> " leap of faith" = key word
- Kevin's :12/15 .On his hometown date, Kevin took Jasmine to his University football stadium. > No mention of him professing his love, despite it was shown on the main episode.

Note that Mikhel has 8 pics with more intimate illustration with Jasmine, showing 2 side shots of kissing, compared to only 6 pics of Kevin with no kissing from side shot, only 1 back shot. IMO it also provides clearer narration for Mikhel compared to Kevin.

Whether it's misdirection or not one must question why Kevin has been portrayed as rather unlikeable in comparison in their social media campaign and on screen. You could say it's because Mikhel may be tipped for bachelor but an incredibly risky move considering we saw it with Richie's season and the incredible slump in ratings for the bachelorette and the backlash that ensued. If Jasmine does pick Kevin they both better grow an incredibly thick skin and brace themselves for the ride that is going to follow. And considering Kevin's following of Roz Weston and then unfollowing because of what he said on the After Show and the whole ticking time bomb tweet, says to me, he may not handle it too well.
