Matty Johnson - Bachelorette Australia - Season 2 - *Sleuthing Spoilers*

To be honest, If I had been let go like that, I would have done more than just like racy pics to get over the person I loved. That's typical when someone has been burnt, you sleep with a few people to try and get them out of your system (doesn't work though) you just go home and eat a bag of m&ms and half a tub of Nutella and cry in your room.

I think Matty knows exactly what he is doing.

from that WHO interview, that "lapping up sympathy from the public" is not his world. that's what the writer said.

I think that his interpretation from the next quote:
"It’s surreal to see people starstruck—because I haven’t done anything! I haven’t cured cancer, been in a movie or rescued someone. I just cried on TV.”

for me, it just seem like he is surprise he got support from many fans

I highly doubt he directly said that. It's not in direct quotation marks. I reckon that's who trying to reach for a story.

I think this was a good article. He's just being open with his feelings but saying at the end of the day he hasn't done anything amazing ....... just cried on TV.

for me, it's really odd, if someone is expected to move one, but not allowed to like "racy pics" because he has to be heartbroken. TBH, that could be the way deal with it to move one. Many guys do that.

that's not easy to answer as I have been warned not to label the member opinion.

but my point is, i disagree if "liking racy pics" does not fit with the heartbroken status or whatever, especially if we wish that person to move on, because that may be his way. that's all

I personally find the current posted and linked articles disrespectful and inappropriate regarding Matty's attitude toward Georgia and Lee. Saying he still is in love with Georgia and would take her back if she and Lee break up...is IMO out of bounds, obsessive and rather weirdly OTT.
In all my years of watching the Bach/Ette shows....I have never seen any other F2 act like this. At this time it seems to me that Matty is just trying to keep soliciting sympathy for his bruised ego. I noticed that many of the comments under the article were starting to be negative toward his inability to move on.
IMO his remarks are particularly egregious when the person who has truly suffered heartbreak is Georgia...by losing her mother.
Matty's TV "heartbreak" pales in comparison. He really needs to let it go and stop milking his TV sob story to the press. The more he carries on...the less likable I find him to be. I think his continued articles show calculation....and a strong need for public attention. Matty editing his SM is a way to present the version of himself he is trying to sell...hence delete the racy photos. It is all so self involved.
IMO one thing seems fairly obvious...his actions seem to be ensuring that there will most likely not be a friendship with him and Georgia and Lee. His comments should make it very easy for both of them to want to avoid that circumstance.

I don't have a problem with his liking racy pictures. It's not like I have never looked at them and I more than enjoyed drooling over the guys on Georgia's season. That oil rub down for instance...Yummy. The only reason we cared was because that was not typical F1 behaviour and it was used as a sleuthing clue.

JMO, but I am getting the vibe that he is pimping himself up as the next Bachelor by playing up the heartbroken F2. Nothing wrong with that, but under these particular circumstances, maybe not in the best of taste. Wait a bit and then go for it.

I have no problem with Matty liking racy pics to get over someone. He was and is single so can do what he wants to. It just seems IMO more like it had more to do with image control than trying to keep the ending unknown since the exact same things were sleuthed about Jake and the other guys liking racy pics and the same with past F2s who liked pics like that. Add in that the same source that was posted about earlier in the season said he was F2 (which ended up correct) said he was already hooking up with other girls (again, no problem at all he is single and was single post-filming) and as [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] posted about Fitzy and Wippa even talking about Matty so it seems more like image control more, imo, because it doesn't fit the "heartbroken" image (even if in reality what he did is typical ways to get over heartbreak, the image it sells isn't, imo).

That said, not discounting Matty's feelings since I give him the benefit of the doubt they were genuine, but for his own sake I think it would behoove him far more to let it go regardless of when the interview was done and realize that he does himself no service by saying things like he'd take her back if the couple broke up when the fact is that she never chose him in the first place let alone to take him back and I found that disrespectful to the couple and more importantly, to himself. Hopefully he can move on with grace like Nikki did. If not, that is his prerogative but so is my opinion on him.  

ITA, that will be disrespectful for Matty to say that at this stage.

On the other hand, that's contradict with what he wrote in his instagram that he wish the best for G and L, nothing less. why would he said that if he is still expecting G for himself in case they break up? for me, that doesn't make any sense.

that's why, I don't believe if that interview is done currently. There is no specific proof either, it just written interview, could be done right after the finale. it's not like that he did live interview recently in TV
