@GuardianAngel I just looked and Freeform has a few other docu-series/reality type shows and they ran for 10 episodes, so maybe it'll be the same for Ben and Lauren.

Thanks @Al. That takes it to mid December. I'm wondering if a wedding announcement would be January with a spring wedding. I don't think they'll announce it while their show is airing. I could be wrong.

So I'm assuming (based on the research), that the show will run for an hour (42 minutes purely without commercials) and will air for 10 weeks. I think 10 weeks seems a little excessive though. So I'm inclined to think 8 weeks. Is it known what the schedule will be like for any of the other shows airing at the same time?

Why not? An announcement might drum up interest and ratings. Execs are all about the almighty dollar. An announcement could likely even be incorporated into filming - to actually air on TV. JMO.

The way I see it, Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After runs until the beginning-mid December. Break for the holidays. Announce sometime during airing actual wedding date. Air TV wedding in Janury attached to The Bachelor on actual ABC.

Hmmm I would say surprises would be Trista, Jojo, twins and now maybe tea with Chris Harrison? Who knows! So jazzed that we have a start date! I wonder when they'll finish filming? Also to add to the episode ideas I think there was a picture of them possibly cake testing?

Ooo I like how you think! I bet it was filmed for the show, and can totally see a sit down asking him to officiate incorporated into an epi.

The only thing though, is these guys, and especially Ben are so religious. I figured they'd want to pull in their own dude. Maybe they don't have a choice though if it's on TV.

I definitely think Ben's pastor would perform the ceremony. But I can see chris being the spokesman for abc and the one delivering the news or discussing the timing of the wedding for filming of the show. Just so it could be documented.
