Reasons To Try To Get Out of a Speeding Ticket

I really have to Pee - badly!!

"This is serious sir. My parents are ahead of me headed home from the hospital where my mom had brain surgery. My dad can't help her in alone so I was trying to catch up with them."

I forgot to put the dog in his crate before I went out; I'm afraid he is going to tear up the house.

My accelerator pedal got stuck!  True story and did not get the ticket.

I thought of this thread this morning. There is a bridge that links one one city to another where large tankers go through the canal. Everyone always checks the bridge status before going that way. There is an electronic billboard which warns you. Lift bridge available or it tells you when it will be going up.

This morning it said "Lift Bridge up in 7 minutes"

Of course I sped up, I knew I had 5 minutes to get to the bridge if I didn't get stuck behind a slow poke. I thought I better not get a ticket for this thread! I was lucky!

There was a bee in my car and I was afraid it would sting me before I got home.

I forgot to set the burglar alarm before I went out and I must get home ASAP.

I think someone was following me and got scared.

I have concert tickets for Beyonce and I'm late to the theater.

I am going to be sick!

I'm exhausted and trying to get home and take a nap before I collapse.

I didn't know what the speed limit was.
