Respectfully, TPTB has not shown itself to have any respect.
They don't care about the LS, they don't care about the contestants, they are ONLY in it for the ratings/money.
Chad and his arrogance = ratings.

IA, not even blaming Chad for this one, it's the producers all the way, just tells me they could care less about Jojo and her F1 but yeah the ratings is what they are about.

Now that I think about it, the last Bette/F1 the producers were nice to at the AFTR was Des....we have really come a long ways with this show since then.

Who's to say, if producer-driven, it is not YET ANOTHER way TPTB uses to discredit Jordan?  IMO, he is too articulate, intelligent and well-bred to do something like that!  I am so tired of the edit he has, and is, receiving!

I Just went and read the article about the gifts it says that he brought flowers for her mom and gag gifts for the rest but it didnt say what they were? Was it revealed somewhere else? Also it said that Jojos mom wasnt impressed with Jordan.... It did not say that she wasnt impressed with the gag gifts. Dont get why its an issue.

JMO: I hate gag gifts. 
The reason being is I usually don't find them funny, but overtly corny and just lame. If it were funny it would be different, but I rarely find this the case. 
So--when meeting someone for the first time, if I was presented with a situation like that it could very well color the experience. However, receiving a gift at all is always a kind and sweet thing, so that would color the experience, also. I guess it would depend on what the gift is. It's hard to buy a gag gift for someone you know nothing about.

Truly? gag gifts the first time you meet the parents not knowing who they are and if they would even understand or appreciate the gag or joke?

I mean would you bring this the first time you meet parents? which parents would take the potential son in law seriously.....

Considering he left for 2 months this banner with wigs with all his family... I would not be surprised he brought some wigs for her family.... yeah, that would look very good on her dad, mom and 2 brothers...

IA. Jordan reminds me of Reid and they brought him back after Jillian let him go looking like a hobo.

I don't think the problem are the gag gifts, but that this family is "giving away" their adored, cherished baby sister/daughter to this stranger and he might not be taking this all seriously like Robby. Jmo.

Re: gag gifts. Not a fan, but there can be a time and place for such things. Meeting your g/f's parents for the first (and maybe only) time is not the time/place. Shows disrespect and a lack of maturity, IMO. Even if producer driven, recognize it is not appropriate and just say NO.

Particularly in Persian culture, you should attempt to show great respect to the young woman's family and the young woman herself. A negative first impression could mean that you will NEVER be accepted by the family.

But again i ask.... Does anybody know,what the actual gifts are? It could be something as simple as some big macs because hes heard they arent liking the local cusiine! Until i know what they are, Im not going to have a problem with him trying to lighten the mood with a joke.

Never in a million years I would have accepted my boyfriend to show up with gags. The first time is the first and last impression.
With time, once everyone know each other WELL, then maybe if it is something that everyone is at ease....
I am not surprised. I saw a video with jordan and his dad playing knight and axes... then we all saw his twitter banner with disco wigs.
If they are happy like that who cares... but meeting for the first time the parents??
If it is prods oriented (which I highly think it was because where in thailand would have jordan found gags since he is not allowed to visit outside his hotel???)... then he should have wore his big adult pants and say: sorry guys, but this is important for me. It means the world to me that they like me and this is not the place and time to do that. If it was his idea, then the guy needs therapy to grow up.
