The Bachelorette - Season 12 - JoJo Fletcher - General Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers* - #4

IMO the feelings are mutual between Jojo and Jordan. She hasn't pressured him into declaring his love - it appears that he felt a strong connection very early on.

Perhaps it was "always" Jordan. Perhaps not. I wasn't THERE so I don't know... and won't debate it. On ATFR, she can confirm to Harrison as she snuggles beside him "It was ALWAYS Jordan" and we will never question again.

A couple things are obvious. Some Bachelor and Bachelorette seasons are not about a Love Story but about What Went Wrong.

She wasted a huge chunk of episode 5 blubbering over the magazine article and about her ex, about how she felt sorry for him, wanted to be a good friend and how bad the relationship was.

So... what is she doing now? Dumping a guy she said this about:

"All my life, I have wanted somebody to appreciate me and to value me and to look at love in the same way I look at love. When I think of the future and the man I want to spend my life with, Luke fits that perfectly. This could be the first date of many dates for the rest of my life with Luke."

She claims in her people.com blog that the connection seemed lost the last few weeks, but that makes no sense when just ONE week before she was cooing about him as the m-a-n and so forth. Maybe what she really means is a few days while dating other guys and getting totally distracted.

Instead of keeping Luke (we are assuming based on online "evidence", but have yet to see this play out), she is spending at least one more week with Chase, who does resemble Luke in a few respects I guess. Only she doesn't seem as "gooey" with him as the others.

Also Robby, whose hometown was focused on "Is he finished with his ex or not?" I have the feeling he may have been her front runner this week and a key reason she was dumping Luke. She did tell his mother she was "falling for him". Also maybe the point of his hometown was to give her a taste of her own medicine since she was questioned about breaking up with her boyfriend a bit too soon before joining the show herself.

Also Jordan whom the other guys are either jealous of or... simply truthful. During his solo date in Uruguay, everybody BUT Robby and Luke was attacking him behind his back, suggesting that he is not who he seemed. Derek was straight-to-the-point with a "theme" for Jordan: "Trust is built It is not just given." In Argentina, Chase said the following: "But we're already kinda seeing some red flags. Everything's under the microscope big time. If JoJo sees that you're getting in arguments with guys in the house... you know, like, maybe she's gonna take a step back and look at that. 'Well, this is my husband. I don't want him getting into arguments with me over something small.' I hope she does."

Now this is just what the editors are showing us. Is it reality? We don't know. They fib to us constantly with their frankenbytes and jumped-up cuts. I will allow others to try fitting the jigsaw pieces together this season. I've thrown in the towel and given up. I don't know what JoJo wants, but it is obviously not the unicorn she said she was seeking on Wells' date.

Jojo's acting is terrible. In past seasons, I've never noticed the lead's acting. But Jojo is trying way too hard in her season. IMO

I'm not as excited to watch the episodes, I hope that next season it's far less obvious who F1 is.

I began this season unspoiled and I was loving the "unknown" until Chad got sent home and the episodes started to bore me. It seemed that Jordan's edit was 'too good to be true' and I really didn't think that he was going to win. I thought it would be Chase.

BUTTTT....
I came to the dark side after Chad's departure. After reading that Jordan won, I was pissed off and actually a bit skeptical given that there were no SC's of him in Thailand. Knowing now that it is highly likely to be Jordan at F1 and everything going to "plan," I'm so freakin' bored!!! I drank so much wine last night that I actually fell asleep right after the episode, which is very unlike me.

Anyways, I wouldn't be surprised to see Jojo on Days of Our Lives soon.

I am sorry if you are also disappointed. It is also a messed up season for me. So many red flags for this guys during the show and outside the show IMO. It IS a truly a yucky season and for me I almost lost my time, Luke being the only exception that I watched this season. I believe jojo was already emotionally engaged before the show with jordan and all the guys lost their time participating. IMO I have an idea that she is starting to understand the backlash of rejecting Luke. I read many many nasty comments about her. If she truly pick Jordan (nothing is still 100% confirmed IMO), then she will need to have a thick gear. This is not going to be pretty IMO. But again if she pick Jordan, she made her bed and I hope she is happy in it.

@JBF I truly enjoy(ed) to share opinions with you. This season started yucky and will end yucky. Good to remember next season!

Poor gal is getting a bit of beating online over her potential dumping of Luke. Eeek! IT IS ONLY A SILLY SHOW! Fortunately it isn't quite as bad as the hullabaloo over Kaitlyn's "Nick and I had... sex" silly business. WE here know this is just a silly show and all of the contestants are unfortunate marionettes who have no control over their strings. Yet the masses are sometimes in riot mode.

Also keep in mind that this is also the week of the Republican Convention in Cleveland, where most of the action is going on outside rather than inside.

JoJo body language during the Luke date made it obvious that her feeling for him were not growing. The last scene was sad because she knew that her feelings for Luke or connection just was not there. Each persons knows for themselves when their love feelings are growing. JoJo obviously has respect for Luke but that love connection just fizzled. Of course she had to let him go. Luke would not want her if she did not love him back. Luke's girl is out there.

agreed @eviebloom i think it was plain obvious, at least for me, that she cried because she already knew she was letting him go. It has nothing to do about him saying ILY or not. It had all to do that she just did not fall in love with Luke. It was a one way street and she enjoyed to french kiss him along the way. I remember my reaction when I saw the teaser with Luke talking and she was playing with her hair... I was 'okayy, she just does not care one bit and he looks to do a monologue (credit: was not alone to think that on this forum). Guess it was not that stretchy. The puppy love eyes she gave him for weeks were obviously not real. IMO

But I kinda know that, I saw her puppy eyes with Derek, James, Chase, heck even Chad. The only she truly had a distaste was Alex and poor Will. I wonder why we did not see the robby/jojo in bed, under the blanket at the hotel in Argentina. I bet a couple of guys healed pretty quickly when they saw that on their screen thinking they were few doors away. I would have for sure. I guess showing us this would have compromise the ending with jordouche IMO

agreed too @JBF Lets not forget Andi and Nick sex bombshell at the AFTR and probably the heavy consequences with Josh. Not that he did not know but because he was ridiculed. Yes it is a silly show since we do not know those people and who they are in real life. I hope they got what they were looking for out of this show. Playing with fire can be hurtful IMO

I'd love to be in the room when they decide to edit this show. I'd love to watch all the tape and have an unfolded vision of what truly happened. I used to like to play puppets and dolls.

IA about JoJo's poor acting abilities. I've stated that several times during Ben's season. However, once you're on the show, you have to follow through and do whatever it takes for them to get their storyboard completed.

If the lead only has eyes for one person from the beginning for some it's not a good season. For others, it doesn't matter much because it's the sleuthing that keeps it fun.

If the lead loves everyone, and leads everyone on, it's not a good season.

If he or she isn't into anyone, and will choose whomever, it's not a good season.

Jake/Vienna comes to mind.

At the end of the day, there will be another season, and we can start all over again.

If JoJo is happy with her F1, then IMO it's a successful season!

Not sure why Jojo could not have started off liking,  being very attracted to, melting with Luke and then have her feelings change.

All leads say that is what they go through over the process of this show with some contestants.
They start off strong and then the feelings change and temper down.

Luke really isn't that special as a contestant as compared to how other seasons have had similar rise and fall of feelings towards one. jmo.

It's the bachelor edit. Tht edit is squeaky clean and is meant to be "Prince Charming" like.

When discussing/mentioning "people" please be specific so it doesn't appear it refers to posters on our forum.

At Joker's Updates Bachelor spoilers thread, a commenter mentioned that JoJo and Jordan are split already and she makes an appearance on BIP. Is there any truth to that?

She's was supposedly spotted in Mexico and she could make an appearance on BIP, but not as a contestant. If they split it was very recent. I think they were together over the 4th of July weekend. Is Joker's saying it just happened? Also Luke R's interview didn't suggest that at all. Just the opposite. When was that taped?
