Hmmmm, did anyone get the impression that Chris is really not on board with Jordan? He didn't say anything awful but just his tone when he talks about him makes me wonder.

CH said JoJo is very much into Jordan.  From the moment he got out of limo, he was one of the "top dogs."  They have chemistry.  They get along.  He's Aaron Rodgers brother.  He's an athlete.  He's good looking.  He carries himself well.  

CH met Aaron randomly golfing a few weeks before the show started taping.  Great guy. Spent quite a while talking to him.  At this time, CH didn't know that Jordan was going to be on the show.  A few weeks later after Jordan was casted, CH was going to bring up meeting Aaron, but the producers said he isn't all that friendly with him, so maybe he shouldn't bring it up.  TPTB knew about the rift, but they wanted Jordan to be the one to start talking about it.  CH said Jordan was very careful in the way he talked about it.  It made him very uncomfortable.  He said it was well-crafted the way he talked about Aaron.  He probably would like to mend fences as it is painful.  It will be brought up at HTD's again.  The entire family is estranged from Aaron and he would love to dive deeper into it and sit down with both Aaron and Jordan and work it out.

Gottlieb asks how real Jojo's feelings are for jordan and whether or not it's producer prodding maybe wanting to keep him around as a potential bachelor candidate. CH says producers get too much credit and Jordan was a top dog from night one and it's obvious how much she likes him. Also thinks people overestimate the perks of being Aaron Rodgers brother (in reference to Jordelle's relationship), because at the end of day he's NOT Aaron Rodgers. At best they might get season tickets to Lambeau field, talks about the cold weather and how often would they even get to enjoy that. He's then asked about the rift between Jordan/Aaron and what Jordan said last night and how much CH knew about it. CH says he 'randomly' met Aaron while golfing a couple weeks before filming started, says Aaron's a great guy (and other superlatives) before he even knew jordan was gonna be on the show, so when he met Jordan during filming he was going to bring it up and a producer clued him in and said he probably shouldn't because he (the producer) doesn't think they talk. This was about 2 weeks into filming. That the producers absolutely knew about the rift but wanted to wait for him to bring it up, and talk about it on his own accord without prodding. CH also mentions that he thinks Jordan was incredibly uncomfortable talking about it and if you pay attention to the words he used he actually tried to gloss over it initially. Says Jordan chose his words very carefully and likens him to a politician not wanting to make waves. Says it's something Jordan would like to mend and fix (i.e. his relationship with Aaron) and how painful it must be, but that seemed like speculation to me in regards to how he (CH) would feel in that situation.

Gottlieb also asks about next week and hometowns, CH says this is the tip of the iceberg that needed to be broached because of hometowns, but that Jojo should tread lightly and says 'how much does she really need to know', Gottlieb defends Jojo a bit, saying that if this is the person you plan to marry, you want to know these things. CH concedes on that point saying that he would also want to know about someone's relationship with their family if he was dating them and that it's important.

He mentions how great he thinks both of them are individually so he doesn't really understand what stopping them from talking and being brothers.

A couple places in the interview CH definitely talks out of both sides of his mouth but that was the gist of it

He called Aaron a "great guy" a "wonderful guy" When he talked about Jordan is was more matter of fact JMO

I do not see a lot of warmth for the Jordan coming from Chris Manson. JMO

Not what I got listening to it. He uses the same adjectives for Jordan when he compares them (really great, really lovely, etc). He seemed matter of fact that Jordan's great but that Aaron is also. Came off as confusion to me about why Aaron's entire family would have shunned him

Maybe the family isn't the one shunning him. I get the impression Aaron is the one shunning his family.....for whatever reason.

I said that long time ago in an interview where he said "he hopes it works for JoJo", paraphrasing but he said it with hesitation. Some of his words/ phrases he uses in his blogs are questionable to me.

Re he met the brother a couple weeks before filming.

That would have been the first week of March. Jordan was announced March 6th that he was going to be a contestant. Is he trying to say he had no idea Jordan was going to be a contestant? How convenient he randomly played golf with Aaron. How does Aaron feel about CH playing golf with him, and several days later Jordan is announced and he didn't tell him because he didn't know?

I don't care about any of this, just pointing out how CH talks out of both sides of his mouth.
