I have read so much, from so many sources, that I cannot find the article -- however, something BBJ's Dad said in an interview "somewhere" makes me think that this new job may have been "in the works" pre-production.  Does anyone else remember this interview?

In all seriousness, the show execs must be eating this up. Jordan and JoJo totally have the potential to be a "power" couple. With Jordan's new job, JoJo's popularity and the many opportunities I assume she's going to get because of that popularity, they just scream "it" and can you imagine if they end up making it or at least have a long relationship? So crazy. It will be fun to watch it play out!

His dad said he wants a career in sports broadcasting...he has been hosting some small sport shows on the side but nothing large scale like this

Possibly -- but I think it was from a print article. (That's what I get for seriously searching for anything remotely related, right?)

I think the dad talked about BBJ wanting a broadcasting career and this would be a good launching pad, which I agree with. But I also think he got there, decided he wanted Jo in addition and stayed for her. The articles and Steve seem to confirm this also. So 1 stone, 2 birds. Not bad. She's a willing participant, more than willing, basically begging participant.

This broadcasting thing is not out of the blue nor is it because he is in this show. he has done it previously also but imo was just free lancing.

What he said to Jojo in ep1 is true.  BYW his other brother luke has also done some media so this is not a new activity for these boys or because of the bachelorette. they all know sports or have played, are intelligent, engaging and have great voices.
I agree that there may have been a push even before the bachelorette and now it has confirmed. I'd bet we hear him asked about this shortly so well know a lot more.

I agree it was not because of this show. He knows sports, he knows the SEC and is engaging, articulate and intelligent ....
