I think Grant's patience and directness with Lace is beneficial in keeping her boat from sinking but unlike lippy Carly (her early ITMs were very cutting) Lace also barters with Grant.  She tells Daniel that she has told Grant a few times she might not give him a rose.  Combine barter with rudeness and this couple looks like a mess some of the time. And it's only been about 2 weeks!  IMO Grant is a "fixer" and might have probe to a pattern of relationships involving that role.  
Curious coupling.

She should start by getting sober.

This is a train wreck and I doubt anything good will come out of this.

It was crazy how she said through tears that she needs a shot. I hate throwing around "alcoholic" because everyone drinks on these shows and I don't need to diagnose these strangers but that was really telling imo.

Because all normal people put a permanent label on their body commemorating a 2 week old relationship.

Personally, I hope whether the relationship works out or not, they can look at what is tattooed ("Grace") and get some wonderful insight to their future whether separately or together.
That might be too deep, however.
