Chase McNary - Bachelorette 12 - **Sleuthing - Spoilers** #2

I enjoyed JPG's season. I thought he was amusing and his ending was one of the funniest ever to me. Again I like all the Bachelor options this season just fine. I think they're nice guys and I will be equally fine with any of them. You won't be hearing me say it should've been so and so over whomever is the pick.

All JMO.

snap chat has really allowed me to get to see a different side to these guys. They are all really fun to watch. To bad their personalities don't come through on the show.

I liked JPG's season too. I found it greatly amusing. Best ATFR! And the "I like you a lot" *wink*  non- proposal?! Dying! Really JPG's whole show was such a fun switch up to the normal edit.

ETA: I don't follow any of these dudes on snap, so maybe that's a key piece I'm missing. Well, I don't think the edit is doing anyone any favors this time. JMO.

@sosleepy don't faint, but we agree. I hate this edit. These guys are a lot of fun and they are just not giving it to us at all. She has some clunkers with Chad, Evan, chit stirrer Alex and tattle tale James T, but there is more good there than they are letting us see. Heck even Daniel comparing Chad to Hilter than Trump is kind of funny, but we just got his muscles.

^^ Yes.. The Daniel comparing Chad to Hitler and then Trump SERIOUSLY made me . That was one of my fave moments from this season so far. Funny stuff.

We agree on other stuff. I think JPG AND Nikki were pretty misunderstood. Like I said, I liked JPG's season. And we both fell pretty hard for 1F then learned the hard way we were bamboozled!

I try to forget my 1F fandom. I am still embarrassed at how much time I spent posting about him and Emily instead of studying Anatomy. I blame him for my B+ in that class and all for nothing. Yuck!

Heck to get back on topic, Chase is a pretty nice guy IRL and his edited version is emotionally stilted and scared to open up. I don't think we have actually seen a smile from him since Epi 3.

^^ Yeah. I seriously don't even know how I got so roped into Maynard's season. I didn't even like Emily that much the first time. And I don't even actually find Jef that attractive. That dang People Water, man.

I seriously thought I'd love Chase... And I don't, the edit anyway. But I also don't know I have the energy to follow these guys on snap. Right now I'm just biding my time for BIP, because I think that could be epically awesome! I'm so pumped for that.

They snaps haven't taken much time so far. I leave them and either watch at night before bed or first thing in the morning in the bathroom, never during the day. It is a cute end to the day or a good way to wake up. At least for me and because I am not responding or posting about it, I don't get sucked in.

Oooo... I thought of another similarity! I liked Nick! I still kinda do, but I agree with you that enough is enough and sell out. See?? We totally can agree!! ok, I'm way off topic.

I actually don't care who they pick as bachelor...come the airing of the season we would be saying the same damn things about how the lead and the cast members are being edited one dimensional. Tptb are the ones to blame here it's how they want a cast member's storyline to resonate with the viewers, and in doing so they do a disservice to the cast members who in IRL have multifaceted personalities.

I agree. I am obviously a big Luke fan and I am really torn, half of me selfishly wants to see him on my tv and the other half doesn't want him putting himself in TPTB's hand to be manipulated, edited and have to deal with whatever bottom of the barrel crazies TPTB can find to make the show what they consider interesting.  The good news for me is I managed to skip most of Ben because it wasn't worth it to me.  So I am personally getting better at just shutting it off if I fail to see anything worth my effort.

ETA, I was ROFL at Chase's snapchat from last night, my hubby and his friends also love to play with cordite, what is it with men and blowing crap up? My hubby and his friends do it under the guise of teaching chemistry, but I always tease him they just want to blow stuff up.

Just wanted to chime in on these two bolded sentences. We always have this complaint around this time of the season. The rising and fading edit. MOT for the drama or just the numbers and we ask why don't they show us more of their real personalities ? Guess they have just two hours each epi and that is insufficient. More's the pity.
Bolded 2 : I have skipped entire seasons or just watched episodes that I am interested in. No big deal. Particularly the Bachelor where I'm not really interested in seeing multiple girls on my screen as opposed to The Bachelorette. Soules season I stopped watching after episode 3, neither the lead nor the contestants were interesting to me. Bens season I watched certain episodes after the first 3. Mostly Amanda's scenes and till her elimination because I took a liking to her. For me, Ben's season was all about Lauren and her alone. The rest including Jojo were MOT and we did not get to see them being developed as characters at this same stage of the filming which is ep 6 or 7.

So this seasons development or lack of, is nothing new, happens each season. And **edited** (myself included) complain and wish for more.
