My latest ... sort of ... foster. This is Oliver. He is 21+ pounds of love. I have never met a friendlier cat. He loves to cuddle with anyone and everyone that he meets ... right away!!! Just a purring machine who will sit on you for hours and if you dare stop petting him he will head butt you for some more loving. He licks me and grooms my hair. I looked like Mary from Something About Mary when he was done with me. He came into foster when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. He was over 30 lbs. We have managed to have him drop 10 lbs so far and are working on more. His previous foster finally became a foster failure with him but she had some issues with her apartment and is in the process of relocating so he is with me till the end of the month until everything is settled.

Just to show you how big he is. He takes up the whole of the cat tree...and spills over...and this is after his big weight loss.

Wow! A big bundle of joy and cuddles @Sprite! 21lbs is a lot cat. That’s the combination of my two doggies.

Today Bailey weighed in at 5 lbs!

@Kashathediva oh wow!! good girl. How many more if any do you expect her to gain?

@GuardianAngel she is16 weeks old. Supposedly, her sister with same parentage the litter prior to her was 5 lbs grown. I think Bailey will be 5-7.
We take her to puppy class Tues evenings. She is so smart, sweet and cute

Summer is busy for me. Checking bird nest and deheading flowers is a full-time job! After looking at all the new posts, I realized I don't visit this thread enough. I love this thread.

I wanted to share my new find. I finally found the perfect glass bird bath bowl.  My son had stands made for me to put in my bird garden(I'll call it) for Mother's Day 2 years ago. (Only one pictured but they are identical)  Then I had to find the right roses I wanted to grow inside and last but not least, I wanted a glass mosaic bird bath bowl that would sit flat on stands and I FINALLY found them! I am so happy I had to share...as it definitely turned out to be a project!





Maybe one day, I'll catch them taking a bath and get a video of it. I've already seen them perch and drink from the bowls! They drive the hummingbirds crazy cause they can't understand the colors that the sun throws yet there is no nectar or flower to feed from.

Kasha, I missed all of this, about your new love. She is adorable! It's also amazing how they can help us heal. Losing one of our
pets is like losing a family member. It's almost unbearable, imo.

Kasha, I've been meaning to pop in for weeks now to tell you how absolutely adorable your little fur baby is and irresistible too.
Every time I look at the picture of Baily I want to hug her. Sweetness and cuteness personified.
We don't forget but we can find love again.
