This is a lesson many of these contestants need to learn. It's a learning curve, to go from obscurity to being thrown to the wolves, opinions left and right, many times not based on much, from strangers hiding behind computers.  Kaitlyn still fights back against the trolls on the regular. Just today, Catherine sent out a tweet calling out people for hating on her stationary company and her dogs, and she's been in the trenches with this franchise for 3+ years and in theory "should be used to it." And you know what, honestly, good for those girls for standing up for themselves now and again. Lauren's only been at this for like 5 months, if you count going from the premiere episode of Ben's season. She's been rock solid and steady through a lot of crap thrown her way - not a peep, except to be kind and gracious. She faltered once. It's not her norm. She's human.

yes imo everyone on this franchise gone on this path and still experiencing it and for sure they used to it by now.  All formers  responding  in  different way. Heck! i saw a lot of these formers accounts response differently . some are swearing , others doing the nice way . That is why i said lauren is no different with these formers who received nasty comments from the trolls. What she did is okay. she gets back with them, she called them out in a nice way and told them to leave her alone and swear a bit . which i can say it is part of her feeling fed up and really angry. I don't think her response is awful. maybe the way she said it doesn't sound nice to others . I think since lauren never did this before responding with trolls others have their opinions since she has been a quiet type of gal by looking at her. So maybe it is just a surprise to see her response that way. I honestly don't have a problem about her response. I think she is angry and hurting and can't  take it anymore. after all wether she likes it or not she will be judged since she is now in public eye. of course imo.

What did she do wrong? She didn't trash anyone, post anything negative about anyone, just posted a comment about her own weight, when there were 100s of comments putting her down. She and Ben IMO did nothing wrong. Jmo.

I don't think anyone is suggesting she did anything wrong. It is more of a discussion on the best way to deal with the trolls.

Really, it's Ben's fault! He posts the most unflattering pics of her all time. Typical guy

But realistically, she looks healthy and is naturally tiny, so that's all that matters. These trolls are a mix of people who just want to hate to hate/worried for her. She's done a very good job, better than most, at not letting the hate get to her publicly..but privately, I think that's a whole other story. From what I've gathered, her mothers IG post (from when the show was just about to end airing) led me to believe Lauren was having a hard time during the airing of the show, Ben's comments post show also led me to believe Lauren (and he) had a difficult time while the show was airing, and a few of Lauren's friends on social media have also made comments where they directly say Lauren has had a tough time since the show has aired. When the whole skinny shaming ordeal came out, one of Lauren's friends, commented on a pic of the laurenandbensnapchat account saying that Lauren has dealt with a lot of bullsh*t since being on the bachelor and doesn't deserve it because she's a beautiful person inside and out. So she may be saving face publicly (good thing IMO), but privately it seems to have been hurting her for a long time. Being in the public eye is not the best thing for ones mentality a lot of the times, so it's just unfortunate all around. Her cracking one time, when she could have months ago, is not bad at all. Even though this will just give the trolls more amo to continue their hate (which they're already doing on her newest IG pic of her with her friends playing kickball, of course saying she's too skinny again), it was probably relieving for her to let out all the anger, annoyance, and sadness she's probably felt for some time now.

Eh I think they've alllllll addressed a little negativity here and there. Even Des will tell people to move on from the show when they mention Brooks, which yes still happens. I wouldn't say Lauren is consumed by it seeing as it happened once

LOL Des still being asked questions about Brooks. Maybe it's his baby.

These idiots are ruining it for the fans. I guess that's their goal, to drive Lauren off IG, and make Ben not post pictures of her, so they can pretend Ben picked JoJo, or something else.
