Yes seems Josh and Jen arrived around the same time so they could be a match. He mentioned Caila last season so maybe her too but now that she lives in NY and has met Andi that might not be a good idea

Are we allowed to discuss Josh on BIP in this thread now that he's been confirmed as a contestant (GA mentioned upthread it needs to be in the BIP Spoiler thread)?

I don't know enough about Jen personality wise but looks wise I think they would be a stunning couple.  From her Bachelor Bio and SM she seems to have a little sass too, which I think Josh would be attracted to. But would she remind him too much of Andi?  I know he seems to prefer blondes but he also says hair color doesn't matter to him so if the connection is there, I hope he goes for Jen.  I would much rather see him with her over any of the other women there, but I think he'll have some competition, namely Nick.

Josh mentioned Caila seeming sweet on the show, but I really don't see those two together romantically at all. I would love to see him build a nice friendship with her though.  I'm hoping the women give him a chance and don't automatically pigeonhole him based on Andi's book.

On a different note, I thought Josh came across well on FS again last night considering the awkward set up of the show. He does seem to truly want to learn about himself and dating.  I think the coaches nailed it with the pressure he puts on himself to find just the right person, even to just date.  He seems very cautious about women and what their intentions and motives might be.  I think a lot of that could be based on past experiences that he and his brother may have had with cleat chasers etc. as well as his experience with Bachelorette.  I'm really anxious to see what Dr. Darcy is able to get out of him in her 1:1 sessions (if they air them). You wouldn't think a guy like that would have trouble dating, but that's where we are all so wrong with the assumption it is easy to find someone naturally.

I knew when he tweeted that teaser it was going to be Josh. I think there super cute as a couple. He wants to have a family right away and she has 2

^^^ I assumed that teaser meant it was someone from the original cast so I figured Amanda was with someone else.  I'm actually really excited about this coupling now.  I just hope it doesn't blow up before filming ends next week.  Of all the guys there, Josh is the one I could see stepping in to "dad" shoes the most.  He's more of a stay home, chill with your family kind of guy and as a mom, I think that's more Amanda's style too.  I hope this works out for them.

Josh put himself in a vulnerable position going on FS, but I think it was a healthy decision.  They are providing genuine dating/relationship coaching and communication skills that even the viewer can learn things.  The common thread with the cast members is trusting that they are being approached for themselves vs. their public persona.  Also, due to their fame, some are not used to having approach others first.  Dr. Darcy cracked a tough case last night with Aubrey in their 1:1 session, so it will be interesting to see her 1:1 with Josh.  The other thing I like about viewing this now before BIP, is that it was filmed before Andi's book was published so that is not tainting his perception at the time.  I think Josh handles himself well so far.

E Network, 10 pm EDT. They run repeats of the show so you could see last night's show and maybe the premier. There are also re-caps online.

This seems like a good pairing on BIP, whether they make it in the RW or not, time will tell. I'm just happy that Josh will not be shown as a horndog jumping from girl to girl, making out with all of them, or leading them on. He's never been a player who dates multiple women at one time in real life, so I'm not surprised he's coupled up from the get go. Amanda seems very sweet and kind, and she's gorgeous.

It will be awesome to see him being romantic and wooing Amanda, I cannot wait!!!!! Her having kids would not be a problem for him IMO, they are so little and he wants kids really badly. Josh is more a stay at home guy & not a bar/club guy at all. Also age difference is perfect, Amanda is 26, Josh is 31, works for me. Now the distance, but actually there's nothing holding Josh in Atlanta that he wouldn't move if he find his future wife. jmo
