I don't think that either Ben nor Lauren have control over the media and the timing of information release. For example, the US Weekly article that recently talked about a televised wedding "this summer" quoted Lauren as saying:

If an accurate quote, that was something Lauren said to US Weekly in March - but it's only now been used in a US Weekly article. IMO that US Weekly decided to publish that article and quote now is because either US Weekly or TPTB decided that now was the time they wanted these wedding rumors out there as "news"; it really isn't new at all. Exactly why they wanted this out there now is anybody's guess but I don't think Ben or Lauren had anything to do with it.

I think it would be great to keep JoJo's social media thread about JoJo and her season and not so much on Ben and Lauren's supposed wedding

ITA, and IMO it's also fine to call out JoJo when she does something questionable or tacky without dragging BenLo into it. JoJo will and has her moment to shine, and will make her own mistakes, every lead does, and there's no need to drag others into it, when she does. IMO.

Unfortunately much was made about JoJo supposedly disrespecting Ben and Lauren, so those two were already dragged in to the conversation in that way. I'm glad that we can agree it all should be kept separate. The three involved all appear to be happy, which is great.

What have we learned from Jojo...it takes her a while yo get over someone. She's probably stuck with Chad and Ben and will use her new guy to prove she's over them. We'll have to see...

Anyway! I wonder what kind of lead she'll be in her media rounds. Spilling the beans early or not. Can't wait to see! Only a few days left to premiere. Hopefully she'll be live tweeting and posting the whole time.

It will definitely be interesting because if she did end up with Jordan, I can picture media outlets and interviewers asking about him a lot just because of who he is. Hopefully she'll give something away. I can also see her live tweeting. She seems to have a good sense of humor, so I think it will be fun to follow her.

Yes! I'm glad Jordan is "famous" because you're right, they'll be asking about him and hopefully, she'll have a funny reaction. I notice the women leads will often call their f1 HOT while everyone else is described as nice, great guy, blahblah, so we'll see what she says. I also love when the final couple teases the fans on sm while the show is airing, which I can see Jo loving regardless of who is f1, so hopefully he's onboard too, mostly for us

Exactly! The same for every lead, not Jojo in particular.
It starts with lust and hopefully evolves into love.
