What?! That's crazy. How cool for him if he ends up going for that. Wow. Well, you can kiss the idea of a podcast or more reality tv out the door. I had no idea he was even interested in politics. Interesting.

That tweet was his answer when fans asked if he still has the wings Lauren gave him when they met.

You know, honestly, this doesn't surprise me at all. Juliet Litman (For the Right Reasons Poscast) called it waaaaay back when Ben was on Kaitlyn's season - Ben has the demeanor to run for office one day if he does so choose. I always thought so too. But the fact that it's (apparently) happening so soon is what surprises me. Yeah, totally, if this is true we can kiss more reality tv (probably a good thing), podcasts, etc, away.  Even little things like snapchat, other social media from both - it's going to need to be drastically limited and they will both have to really think about what they share.  I wonder what this does to potential TV wedding? Lauren snapped a picture of an American flag today. Wonder if that was a clue.

Honestly, I kind of have mixed feelings about this. But this is really kind of impressive and great for Ben (and Lauren - she tooootallly has the poise and class to be "First Lady" material.) A much more impressive post-Bachelor career trajectory than most (if true).

I hope it isn't true either cause although Lauren has poise and class, I think she would be miserable in the long run. Having to hold back on sm of what to post. Stuff she wears will be scrutinized if it's not "ladylike". Lauren is already adjusting to Denver life so running for office would just shift things to an even more extreme can't be myself or do anything fun out in the open anymore. I'd think this one out if I were them.

Great for Ben but not so much for Lauren. IMO

Wow, honestly I don't know how I feel about that article. Wasn't expecting that right now. Do I see Ben as a public servant? Yes absolutely and I think he'd be really good. He'd be there for the "right reasons". Do I see Lauren as someone who would be supportive of this role? Yes. But is it fair to put her under that scrutiny and added pressure right now? I'm not too sure.

As a fan I feel like it limits what they do and say, and selfishly I'm not down with that. But when opportunity presents itself and it's something you feel passionately about, maybe it's not something you could pass up.

Hmm. This is one that I have to sit back on and wait to see what happens. My tune will probably change. As long as Lauren is 100% supportive this is something that could be really cool. Ben would be great in politics.

Ben would be a great public servant but the mudslinging that comes with politics makes me hesitate.

In regards to the American flag-it's Memorial Day, not just for family members who have passed but all the Armed Forces people who have passed. That's what I think it's in reference to. :-)
