James Taylor - Bachelorette 12 - Discussion

My personal fav musician from the show is Michael Nance, from Emily's season.  He was far too normal for the show though and only lasted to like week 4 or 5.  His occupation wasn't listed as musician though, I think it was rehab counselor.  

If James is anything like his fellow Texan, Nance, he'll be one of my favs this season.

I still listen to my Michael Nance songs on my iPod. He might have gone farther with a different bachelorette.

If James is half as good as Michael, I will be excited.

I liked his voice on those youtube videos.

He reminds me of the guy who was on "Married at First Sight", that married Jamie Otis.

I agree Cali. That appeals to me. He does not look cookie cutter like most of the others this season.

Based on FB comments (dad's FB: Jim Taylor), his mom didn't appear to be pleased about his being on the show. His dad, at least, tried to make light of it. You'd think he had run off to live in the enchanted forest, or something, from how she took it.

He totally looks like the type who will fall hard into bubble love, and be messed up for a while, after he gets home. He won't have ended as the F1, so I'm happy he was sent home before HTD's.

BTW, he is the person that tweeter posted a pic of, jogging in Katy. Has the colorful arm tattoo. They sent him home to the parentals for re-programming.

I like that he is unique because he looks more like the guy next door than on the cover of GQ.  He has a lot to gain by appearing on TB which should enhance his singing career with the free PR.  Look forward to seeing his personality on screen.
