I said during the hometown date of Lauren's parents that I could see them inviting Ben's parents to be a part of their family since Ben was their only child. Evidently it is going both directions!

I can see Ben's parents at Christmas gatherings with Lauren's parents in the future when there are grandkids. And, I'm betting that any kids that Lauren's siblings have, will also think of Ben's parents as another set of grandparents. My grandparents were very generous at inviting their oldest daughter's in-laws to all holiday gatherings (along with the never married daughter that lived with them). I grew up knowing them and they weren't my grandparents but they are in many pictures from my childhood. I went to both of their funerals and this past December I attended a 90th birthday party for the never married daughter, "Aunt Betty". She wasn't my aunt, but that is how I always thought of her. It really wouldn't surprise me if this happens for the Higgins with the Bushnell family in the future!

These 2 sets of parents are not going to be jealous of the other set of parents at all!

Thanks everyone for keeping this thread alive, I look forward to reading here each day!

I have to say, I didn't think I could like these two any more, and then each day passes and I do.. I like them more and more. Their post show activities just show how genuine and down to earth they are. It amazes me how these two people got lucky enough to find each other, in such crazy circumstances.  It was no doubt as Ben's dad said "meant to be." From dating in New York, to their ever present but not in your face social media, to Lauren's girlish giggles on snap chat, to the sparkle in Ben's eye, to community stops and local visits just to bring good cheer with no monetary gain, to Lauren's family flying many miles to celebrate Ben's bday and attend byc event, to EVERYONE they met saying how sweet and genuine they are.. Just sums up what awesome people they are and what a wonderful match and genuine love story happened on this crazy show.

Thank you Ben and Lauren for being the people I thought you were, it was worth every minute I invested... Too often that isn't always the case. The hope of a Ben and Lauren is why I've always watched this show.
