Question.. At the 0:38 mark Ben taps Lauren's shoulder I think 3 times I wonder if that was some sort of secret signal they had. I don't think I ever saw that before.

I don't know. I would say that the post upthread is probably correct because Ben does seem to love shoulders especially Lauren's. The only other thing though is he has posted a picture on his instagram about wingspan and they are in their swim suits from this scene. The producers or editors or whomever cut their final date scenes to seem intense but that picture suggests they were playful at least once. He almost appears to be singing to her in that picture. So, if patting her shoulder was some secret signal or just re-assuring her in the moment.... well we can only speculate. Their dinner that night seems tense too but if you watch they are also very playful (or at least he is) when she answers the door. Makes you go hmmmm.

So much of what we saw was itm's. I think when they put this episode together they were just trying to build suspense by casting doubt on Lauren and Ben's relationship. They had Lauren crying and his mom crying for that matter. Funny how after Lauren said goodbye to Ben at the door and walked back to the couch she seemed very much at peace.
Lauren do not watch the last episode. It leaves out all the good fun parts of your last date.

I would love to see them on an ep of Fixer Upper!! How fun would that be?! Lauren wouldn't be able to contain her excitement!

I do hope we get to see their progress on fixing up Ben's house. Have we ever seen pictures of it before?

I love them! Can't wait to see them in Denver together and really see snippets of their life together. In general I say NO to more reality tv for them, but I could totally get on board with a Fixer Upper episode.

Sorry, I don't think an epi of Fixer Upper will happen, unless Ben and Lauren plan to move to Waco.  Chip and Jojo have mentioned it in multiple interviews, but now they have this info on their website as well.

I found a listing of Ben's home a while ago just not sure if it was ok to bring over here for privacy issues I don't know. I'm pretty sure its Ben's home though. It has tons of walls in the kitchen area that are really unnecessary! Definitely needs a fixer upper.

Unfortunately, they don't work on houses more than about 30 miles around Waco. I'm wondering if this is the type of show that Ben and Lauren would be interested in having on HGTV. Something Ben said, about not closing the door to TV and how Lauren is so good at design made me wonder if this wouldn't be a good fit for them.
