Love all the pictures, etc. that people are bringing over here, too. I don't understand why people want to stand in between them in pictures, either. I don't do that with my couple friends, either. I don't think it is malicious, either. My thought is that on some level (even if it is subconscious) that some of these fans still see Ben as the Bachelor (ie. single) because that is how they saw him on TV and haven't totally switched over to the idea that Ben is truly engaged to Lauren now IRL. I kind of "roll my eyes" at some of the picture captions fans write or some of the comments that are made on SM -- I would personally not like it if I were Lauren, but she seems to take things in stride much more than I would.

I think the fans see them as celebs, and sort of want to be near both in pics.

I've seen past couples that are always side by side in fan photos, but occasionally put the fan in the center. I actually remember one instance where a fan who was posed in the center told the couple to take the center - he/she didn't want to separate the couple even just to take a picture. But I think it may be a couple "style" choice.

Whoever is in the center of a picture tends to be the one your eye is drawn to first - so by putting the fan in the center they are elevating the fan into that position of initial focus. I think it's a nice gesture - almost generous - to "honor" the fan. I think the fans probably love it - other than a fan who feels like the one above.

I think it's a nice gesture as well. It's the fan's pic, and by having both Ben and Lauren on either side, it makes for a nice keepsake for the fan.

They can put their arms around the fan, rather than the fan being on the end, just standing there.
