Other than the scenes on the website did much else happen at AFTR?

Last night Ben bugged me. It was all about Ben and his mom asking what Lauren or Jojo can do for Ben. At what point does Ben stop asking what his Lolo or Jojo can do for him and what he can do for his Lolo? Even the reproposal was all about how Lauren was supporting him throughout his journey (drink!!), not how he supported her watching him dropping ilys erryday to both. I guess time will tell with these two as it does with all of them.

I'm praying that these two last, they seemed to be very natural and easygoing on AFTR and Jimmy Kimmel, so hopefully they'll be a success story!

^^I thought it was extremely selfish of Ben to repeatedly tell both ladies ILY knowing it was not going to end well for one of them.  It is one thing if he let it slip once, but over and over again giving them both reassurance they were the chosen one.  Had JoJo not been given the Bette lead, I think she would have been much more outspoken last night about the blindside.  JMO.

I like Ben very much, but I agree with you. And I was disappointed that he would not admit to it being a mistake or that he would have done that differently in hindsight. It wouldn't have prevented his relationship with Lauren from happening, but JoJo might not have been QUITE as crushed. OTOH, maybe it helped her get the Bachelorette gig.

I must admit I got a bit of a Chris and Whitney vibe last night as well. I really hope it's just nerves, because I want these two to make it!

I did not get a chris and Whitney far from it because when chris was talking with Becca at aftr you could see chris was still into Becca but ben you could see he has moved on from Jojo jmo

Everyone will see what they want to see. It happens EVERY season, just like with real life relationships, commitment and work from both will be added advantage now that their relationship just started, as always time will tell.

He's definitely moved on from JoJo IMO, and I love that he looked supportive of her being the Bachelorette!

I don't think he's as bad and apathetic as Chris with Whit but Ben just seemed so detached compared to what I expected him to be like with his perfect, forgiving, dream girl by his side for the first time.

I'm rooting for them also, not only to dethrone Sean but also because I think he has the capabilities to become a really, really great, giving and caring husband and dad one day and he wants to get there imo. However, his selfish behavior and totally bowing down to tptb, and just overall childishness (encouraged and nurtured by his mom), tells me he's far, FAR from there and it's going to take major work to get there. If anything, his blindness to himself and his mom's part in all this gave me Josh Murray vibes.

The MTP is always about the lead and their feelings so I'm not sure why this would be any different. The rest comes later once there's just one woman. This isn't a real life situation.

I didn't see any red flags with them but I'm not looking for problems either. Only they know what's in their hearts. I think they're a sweet couple and wish them well.
