Nah, you are not. It took me a while to figure it out too.

I think there are instructions somewhere but don't ask me to find them LOL.

Have you saved an avatar to your desktop or hard drive? If so, then click on the profile at the top of the page, go to where it says to change your avatar or install an avatar, click on browse and find the saved file (usually a jpeg or a bmp) highlight the saved avatar and then save (I think).

I always save my files to the desktop it makes it easier for me to find them.

ETA: Oooh I see your avatar is there now - nice one it is too.
