Caila Quinn - Bachelor 20 - Discussion - #3

I adore Caila. Perfect post for her to showcase today. Smart woman.  I look forward to seeing Caila continue to be Caila.  The beautiful, smart, complex, diverse, classy, well traveled, positive energy woman she is. True to her fathers words "free at last" she is no longer subjected to the puppet show. Happy Hapa Day!!

I can understand free at last. I would imagine up until now, she's been promised the lead role, without signing anything. Their lives are on hold waiting, for concrete confirmation. They continue to pump the potential lead by saying you're it, your life is going to change, but we can't sign just yet. Mind games all around for everyone.

Four months of waiting, only to be dumped. Yes, I'd be saying free at last as well, among other things.

Caila is better off without TPTB. She is (IMHO) very sweet, sincere, intelligent and grounded beautiful woman who has the an amazing future ahead of her!!

It is bad enough they sucker punched Caila but they involve the entire family.  I hope for Caila's sake, she does steer clear of this franchise and her parents also encourage her to pursue other opportunities.  Hopefully, they will stay "free" and far away.
Caila is lovely and has so much going for her.  I wish her wonderful opportunities IRL rather on reality TV.    

It's just too much to involve the families too, and for a ruse only. People have more important stuff going on in their lives than being involved in a reality show for nothing.

I certainly am not an advocate for TPTB. But the cast and families do have a choice of getting involved at all.

They should get the contract signed up front rather than trust this franchise. Lesson learned.

I guess most families want to support their son/daughter if they get the lead role, even if they otherwise wouldn't be interested at all.

I am looking forward to TPTB/ABC taking it on the chin for not casting a diverse lead yet again.  I hope Caila's Happy Hapa Day post makes it into lots of media posts.  MF et al suck.....as usual.

It's not really up to the families to say yes or no so I tend to think they're innocent parties. I'm sure Caila will be fine and definitely better off without the show.
