I noticed that on IG as well that many saying Nikki is F1. I remember the same happening with Snez (lots of comments saying Snez wins). Could be the same situation here where it's known if she is F1. Will see..

Well till the F4 everyone thought Heather is the F1 and that she gets the F1 edit. So who knows?! Kinda strange that they have done everything to hide from the public who it is, only for a Sasha, Dave and Nikki to literally shouting it out from every rooftop they can. Plus to determine it with the obvious edit. IMO

I remember lots of comments long before F4 and when Heather left that Snez was F1 and won and how the comments were getting deleted and it being discussed if it meant something or not. With Heather I remember the comments more that people wanted her to win rather than she was the winner.

It's why I was so puzzled at the time (and blinded since Heather was my fave) but even the media (DM) had the psychic medium guy saying Heather wouldn't make it past F4 long before it got to that point and he was bffs with lots of the cast.

Snez's sister was also following Sam and liking pics of Sam and Snez from the first episode too and similar to Nikki's sister following Richie from the beginning (she started following him when filming wrapped around June 1) and liking pics of Richie and Nikki.

A nice summary of why the media & the general audience IMO believe Nikki is F1. After this is over, I hope the pap that took the FRC money shot gives an interview because I am beginning to think that was a made up story by the producers at this point laugh out loud

Another interview by Elle AU with Keira. I know that she is not popular but do agree with her response as to who should win. IA that all that matters is for the final girl to be genuine with Richie & for the relationship to last  yes

Also Keira said that all the girls all have a FB page & they discuss the episodes on it....interesting that herself & Kiki already made up over the "peasant" comment. Plus she said that initially herself & Rachel didn't get along in the house & had a big fight that the producers chose not to air but they later made up laugh out loud

Who do you want to win and who do you think will win?
To be honest with you… I know this sounds really cliché but the girls are really amazing, and everyone deserves to find love. I just hope that whoever ends up with Richie that they are genuine, and that it does last. We all put our hearts on the line. We do make ourselves very vulnerable in these kinds of situations. Whoever ends up with him, I hope they are in it for the right reasons and that it lasts.

Elle AU interview with Meghan....highlighted some of the responses.

Who has the best connection with him?
I think Rachael’s a bit of a dark horse and she’s one to watch. I was very close to Alex in the house so I really hope she wins. She was definitely the one, while I was there, who I felt could win. But I’m not actually sure who does win.

How do you feel, as Alex’s friend, about the way she’s been portrayed on the show?
I think love can do crazy things to people! I have talked to her about it, and she’s great, she just laughs at herself. It is pretty bizarre and funny to watch, and I think for everybody the experience feels so long ago. On-camera and off-camera people can be a bit different as well, but Alex is a cool chick.

Did you get along with Keira? Were you friends?
Keira and I got along fine, but we weren’t really close or anything. We’d talk in the house and cook each other meals, and hang out. When Richie was involved—there’s all these girls, and one guy—that’s when emotions run high, and people say and do things they normally wouldn’t do.
Would you have done anything differently?
No! I would have done everything exactly the same. No regrets!

Who would you like to win?
I want Alex to win, just because I like her a lot. So I hope she does.

How to Speak Bachelor, From Someone Who Does

I like to think of myself as a bit of a Bachelor expert. I've devoured season after season (I'm well into double digits) of The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and the Australian versions. I've also seen a UK season, a New Zealand season and some choice Bachelor in Paradise episodes. Oh, and two seasons of UnReal — which is like, additional course material. There is always a section of my conversations with friends reserved for Bachy talk during which you'll hear me say things like, "Yes, but she's getting the winners edit," "He's not genuine, I'm telling you!" and "This ain't gonna work out." I can generally pick who's going to win in the end, and who's there to keep things interesting, and I have learnt the art of speaking Bachelor. This is important, because as was pointed out to me one evening when my fiancé played witness to a Bachy binge — they don't use normal language when talking about their thoughts and feelings on that show.

Instead, they use the language of The Bachelor. A tongue that's been developing through producers, contestants and Chris Harrison (presumably to avoid talking about the show as a show) since 2002. Here's what those phrases, which seem to start rolling out of contestants' mouths the second they step out of the limo, actually mean.

"Here for the right reasons."

A classic and possibly my favourite Bachelor phrase, being "here for the right reasons" basically means they've come on the show because they want to find love, and are genuinely interested in their suitor.

"Here for the wrong reasons."

Conversely, the "wrong reasons" are "to get famous" or "to become the next Bachelor/Bachelorette." More than a few contestants have been cut because another has overheard them saying how they're gunning to be the next Bachelor/Bachelorette. Not. Cool.

"I believe in the process."

They think having one man/woman date 21 women/men who are all made to live together without contact to the outside world is an ideal way to find a spouse.

"We had a connection."

Translation: "I like and am attracted to that person."

"The connection is stronger with someone else."

Translations: "I like someone else more than I like you. Soz."

"I really want her to open up."

This is something the Bachelor/Bachelorette will say about contestants who are finding it hard to relax on camera or go on dates that are intimidatingly romantic and struggle to act like man and wife with a stranger.

"I find it hard to open up."

Read: "I feel really uncomfortable with everything that's going on," or "I'm not good at acting like I'm totally besotted with someone I've just met." Or, "I've had my heart broken before which I will reveal to Bachy in a later episode and I will expect hugs . . . and a rose."

"I'm beginning to fall in love."

"Beginning" to fall in love implies that you will "end" falling in love and then, what, just be in love? It's a phenomena that only happens to people on dating shows, and the IRL translation is just that you really like someone and would keep seeing them, maybe even make them your SO if you weren't on a show where you have to go from first date to engaged in a hot minute.

"I need some reassurance."

This is usually said by a contestant who got early one-on-one time and thought they had Bachy in the bag, but then they've had to witness the object of their affection go on dates with a lot of others and are starting to bug out. Jealousy is real! And in Bachy-land reassurance = a rose.

"I'll miss you."

Usually said when someone in the top five gets cut, this means Bachy really did think you could be the one he/she fell in love with, but they didn't. Maybe you'll still be friends?

"It's part of my journey"

Put simply, journey = the show.

Bahaha this is too real. She has hit the nail on the head. After watching Joe Millionaire and then the bachelor from 2002, I concur with everything she is saying. Nice. Thanks for posting it. cantstopl
