Interesting because I actually thought the opposite - I found Richie smoother around Alex, and less so around Nikki.

Agree with Damien's assessment that Richie is more boyish and masculine around Nikki, and also more protective of her (some of you have already made this observation too). Also agree that the comparison between Alex and Nikki could be a case of physical v emotional connection. I feel like in general, it depends on which girl develops the most balanced connection (both physical and emotional) with Richie the fastest.

My first thought was Meghan as well since you all sleuthed that she may have left on her own? Who ever it is, tenplay is denying it so maybe she just won't get a rose, and that will be her exit. On the US franchise, they made a huge deal for the drama effect. It wasn't nice.

"PS: Who do you think is going to win at this stage?

Eliza: At this stage, I think . . . Alex, Megan or Nikki. And I think Faith is the dark horse. She is such a gorgeous girl and she is exactly like that: bubbly and friendly and divine. They're quite a lovely match, actually"

I am probably making too much of it because I prefer Faith to the others but I find it intriguing that she referred to Richie and Faith as a "match" as if it is a a done deal.  Of course we have seen a number of contestants slip up with tenses in radio interviews etc so it may be nothing, or it maybe something...

But Sasha Mielczarek may have just spoiled the ending of The Bachelor by saying Nikki Gogan is the winner - weeks before the season finale airs.

In his 'insider' recap for RendezView, the 31-year-old announced: 'It’s Nikki. Has to be. Congratulations, Nikki!'

Although the I currently can't see anyone else as F1 all this 'exposure' in the media of Nikki being F1 is suss IMO or it is that obvious and producers have just thrown in the towel

^ The point is, nothing so far is THAT obvious for the immediate Nikki is F1. I find it suspicious that they are ALL saying this based on the few episodes that we have seen and there is still doubt.

I don't supposed they follow orders and put out those feelers to test the waters... Do they? Could be an attempt to create a fan base for Nikki if she's not F1 and then have her as Ette.

Look at Alex, she's getting tons of airtime, more than anyone other than Kiera and lots of Richie time so why dismiss her so readily regardless of edit.

To me, Nikki at F1 is a no brainer (lives close distance to Richie, possibly in the same circle and he/she likes each other) but why come out so soon calling it like a spoiler for the show's fan base.

I think Sasha comment about Nikki being F1 was possibly tongue in cheek/joking because he then followed it up by saying "Really caught me off guard as I thought Keira (Maguire) was the one." JMO

I agree and still think its very odd that just about everyone has picked Nikki, so unless they are doing this to pull the carpet out from under us at the end for a shock finale (I'm hoping its Olena), we may need to wait and see. Or like you said they may have just thrown the towel in. I have to admit although my head is saying Alex can't be F1 with this kind of edit, my gut is still saying it might just be her. They have 2 vids on her date in ten play which is the recurring theme for all the F1's. They have a vid for a bit of the date and then they have a 2nd one showing the kiss. So at this stage Im still completely baffled with this season.
