The Bachelor Australia - Season 4 - Richie Strahan - Social Media - Media - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

AFTER each episode, we ask The Bachelor host with the most to answer five of our burning questions about the show.

1. Maybe it’s just us, but we’ve always wanted to know — when you turn up with the date card, are the girls told who has to read it out? How is it decided?
When I drop off the date card it is calculated who reads it out because you want to make sure you get the right reaction out of the right people. You don’t want someone who’s going on the single date to read out her own date card basically. And when it comes to the group date, you want someone who is reading the group date card to be someone who is going to give the best ... I mean, giving Keira a date card to read out is the best thing ever. No one reads them like Keira!

2. Nobody does anything like Keira, let’s face it. Speaking of group dates — why do people hate being on them so much?
I don’t know. I’m not one of the girls so I can’t speak for them but I think it’s generally the uncertainty and the idea that they’re going to be compared. But it’s The Bachelor — that’s what it’s said on the box for the past four seasons, this is what happens. Plus you’re talking about a group of women who are probably the most striking woman in the room in every room they go into. And suddenly they’re ... not. So that’s all part of it. It’s seeing how people react when they’re normally used to getting what they want out of a situation is either taken away from them or amplified.

3. Can we talk about Rachael and what Richie is seeing in her? We’ve yet to see her say anything remotely positive about the girls or the show and she’s got quite the jealous streak. She’d totally be in the running for this season’s villain if that title wasn’t already taken.
You’d have to ask Richie but bear in mind, Richie only sees the side of the ladies that they want him to see. As viewers, we get to say to our TV, ‘Oh no Richie, look out!’ when he’s falling for someone that we know something he doesn’t know about. Now I don’t think Richie’s seen the side of Rachael that you and I have seen so we’ll just have to wait and see.

4. Alex second guessed using the white rose last night and ended up in tears about it. Do you think we’ll see a turning point with her going forward where she uses it to her heart’s content?
I think karma has a way of showing itself in very interesting ways and you just might see that play out as far as the way Alex will use the white rose.

5. Okay, last but not least — hit us up for a spoiler for next week Osher!
The group date in the next episode has got to be one of the funniest, most interesting, most revealing group dates we’ve ever done. I couldn’t believe that every minute something more remarkable would happen. It really blew my mind and I can’t wait to show you.

What on earth do you think the bombshell is that Nikki drops? It must have been pretty juicy to get that reaction from the girls.

Also in Osher's podcast he said that the best things happen in this episode. I wonder if it has anything to do with the group date with the babies. Roll on Wednesday!

Perhaps it has something to do with Richie and kids and an insight she may have. I am theorising that Alex would tell the girls about the kids talk with Richie and perhaps Nikki shared something that Richie has told her that may make Alex upset. It would fit with the crying VO with someone saying they would hate to hurt someone???

Another Bachelor saying Nikki. It's almost getting too much attention now that it makes me second guess if Nikki is infact F1?!?

Hey guys, kinda new to this but I've been reading all your posts and it makes the show so much more interesting to watch now that I know about these forums! This season is really interesting because it just seems very different - for instance, not sure we've seen many CP conversations and that's pretty annoying!! Just saw this image of him talking to Olena at the CP - we've never seen him actually approach her, the editing seems to be keeping her very low-key!!

It sure is annoying. Hopefully when the numbers dwindle we will but then again maybe the conversations are a bit beige and not edit worthy?

Thank you! Yeah, I thought that as well - maybe they're trying to cover up for Richie being nervous//awkward, and instead drown us with so much drama?
