Basically I can see Jordan as a real good "catch" - for the show as the next lead - more than for JoJo as F1. The show has sort of settled in on recycled contestants so they can build a soap opera like continuity from season to season, but in so doing they have gravitated away from the type of lead they had in, say, Andrew Firestone. People with a "high profile" (like Andrew or professional athletes) aren't easy to get on the show because they really don't need this show to find women in the first place. If Jordan was willing to do it as a contestant I have to wonder what may have been promised to him down the road.

^^^ TA. I think I read sonewhere that tptb use the season as a contestant as the stepping stone to the lead spot.

Besides, he signed up when  Caila was supposed to be the lead this season and more likely much before. Stands to reason that he doesn't care who is the lead since his camp has already admitted to him being there for the adventure.

I'm sorry but I don't trust Jordan to be interested to find a real relationship from the show. Of course they'll cast him, and JoJo will be interested, there will be spark, but... Jmo.

Getting more curious now to know what the other guys (not already sleuthed) are going to be like. Can't wait.

This guy is a UFC fighter and he has a verified blue check mark. Not sure why he would want to contact them. Wants to go on the show? Might be involved in a future date or one that already happened?

I've heard that too.

Back at the time I heard that Emily wanted to be The Bachelorette and applied for that. I heard she was told if she wanted to do that, she had to appear on the show as a contestant first, to build a fan base. The fact that she appeared on Brad's season first, and the fact that ever since Jason's season every lead was first on the show as a contestant (except for Brad who was first on as a lead) tends to make me believe that the path to the lead is through being a contestant first.

I have not only heard that, I have seen concrete things to indicate that.

CH said it in one of his countless interviews that Fleiss would never use anyone who wasn't already a contestant as lead. He said that is the direction the producers have chosen to follow, although he ( CH ) is open to having a newbie as lead.

It works, having someone viewers have connected with as the new lead. This is a business for these guys and they have to think like business men first.

JP went on Ashley's season for fun and adventure and fell in love. I don't care why they go on the show anymore, I care how they act once they are there. Every contestant since the format change and one male lead and one female lead per year always from a former cast has been at least partially interested in fun and possibly being the lead. Since then we have 3 of our five married couples and one who have been engaged for almost a year and a new couple that seems strong.

To me the success comes from the sincerity of the lead and their ability to chose well. The failures I have seen were when the lead didn't really engage or they repeated their past patterns and chose poorly. JMO.

So as long as Jordan or any of these guys give themselves a chance to really know JoJo and feel something, I don't care if he wants to further his career. Heck if he has a career after the show other than former reality contestant and SM product hawker I will probably be giddy.

IMO this is a key point that can't be forgotten - and all too often is. Everything they do is based on the business of attracting and keeping viewers engaged, invested, entertained and watching the show. The show may seem to be about finding love - but it isn't - it's about finding viewers.
