I saw the post asking this question, and it's an interesting question.

IMO the only things that would stop Ben from picking Lauren as F1 is if:

1 - She left early and he couldn't pick her (think Brooks).
2 - She stayed but never got to the point of committing or admitting that she loves Ben (think something like Becca on Chris S season).
3 - There had been some train wreck on HTD (think Bettina on Brad 1 - or JoJo this season).
4 - When Lauren finds out that Ben told JoJo he loved her, Lauren tells him to stick his ILY where the sun don't shine.

IMO Ben has been chasing Lauren since the M&G and doing things to build her confidence and keep her around, and she's now come around and I think is as crazy for Ben as he is for her. Only in the warped mind of Mike Fleiss trying to make it seem as though Ben might not pick Lauren would Ben not pick Lauren. It's just gone too far for too long and the only possibility left is #4 on the list, and from the little bits and pieces that have been shown in the previews, #4 isn't going to happen either.

He said he can't imagine his life without her.
