And K and S talking about having 4 or 5 kids is crazy. They have no idea the level of commitment and responsibility kids require. Maybe they should focus on gainful employment before they start talking about kids. They do not sound like 30 year olds to me. JMO.

WTH are they so busy with? I get that Shawn actually seems to be trying to get his business off the ground, but what is she so busy with...other than drinking all that wine? I hope she realises that 4 or 5 kids requires a lot more work than planning a wedding.

well no one knows what is making  them so busy. Well imo if you have so much time  and energy for daily snapchat or drinking . Then you can have time to do your wedding planning . Not necessarily you start now the planning and then you need to finish the same day . That is why there is something called multi tasking . Or if they can't find time or no energy , wedding planners are everywhere . Jmo.

I guess in Shawn's mind the proposal wasn't how he really felt. He went through the motions to please production and Kaitlyn.  Is Shawn ready to spend the rest of his life with Kaitlyn? I'm not so sure JMO

*Busy* as in they are waiting for TPTB to offer them a TV wedding but they are mum and haven't said anything so now they are making excuses because they really want to have a TV wedding. If TPTB said tomorrow that they are giving them a TV wedding they would jump on that without blinking.

I doubt they have the money to organise a wedding by themselves. They need ABC money for that and I don't think they're interested.

Yeah, I'm also thinking it's about $$ at this point.

I dunno - I think that both he and Kaitlyn knew going into the finale that their engagement would not be a "real life engagement" but the mega ring she wears is a major incentive to go along with production and go along with the engagement idea while they get to know each other better. They probably were expecting more production perks than they got though and I do think had production came forward right away with an offer for a free wedding - they would have sped the process along faster. I think the longer they take, the less likely it is that production offers that free wedding - out of sight, out of mind.

I can't fault them if this was the case, as I think many of the couples realistically are in this same place. It would explain the length of time, imo, it took with traveling from one place to the next and then finally making their own home(just them). So now they are at a stage willing to commit to living with each other as adults--on their own. Sean is now trying to establish a career and livelihood. So I see him moving forward and personally investing in "them". K still appears shiftless. So this saga is TBC.
Weddings can be simple, yet meaningful experiences. If they want that, very little planning need take place. However, IMOAA, they are no where close to that experience.

Imo it is also goes to KB not only Shawn. Does KB ready too? I do think they are both not. Based on their answers on their going circles interviews. I think for Shawn for now he just love the idea of being engaged and the perks they are getting in public . I don't know that much about their plans going forward but for now I do think that is where Shawn is. Just being engaged and enjoying that way.For KB I can also said that to her same page with Shawn. I mean janner married by televised wedding by this franchise but I think they started their planning before abc televised theirs. For Shawn and Kaitlyn I don't think not on  Rush is bad but I hope every interview they had . They should be consistent their answers and just tell they are not ready to tie the knot for now instead of telling no time , no energy ect etc. jmo.

I personally don't see the rush, they haven't even been together for a year yet, I like that they are still figuring life out together and when that part is done, then wedding planning will happen. We get this anytime any of these couples seem remotely into each other, I think figuring out life together is more important than wedding right now and they are not terribly off on time yet. Planning a wedding for pple like them will probably be a breeze since most services might be sponsored.

This is the same couple that said they want to have kids before getting married. The same can be said about having kids but they said they cant wait to start having them.

Having children is a life time planning event compared to several months of wedding planning. Plus you better be able to plan and organize once you have a child. Baby night feedings, toddler terrible twos, after school activities, getting supper ready and eaten before dance lessons homework bath time. It's comical that they think having kids is much more fun than wedding planning. It's all BS.

Just say, we don't know we don't talk about it, we are enjoying life. What will the flavour of the day be next month?
