Are you thinking at some point on the lcd? The bathroom scene from the latest preview of the finale? Not trying to I am just trying to imagine what would have happened that would cause JoJo to react so emotional prior to the finale.

I think that bit might be from the LCD as well. It was only a voice-over and I don't think it had anything to do with what was shown on the screen at the same time.

I could see that voice over possibly being from the actual day of the frc following Ben letting JoJo go....IF in fact JoJo is F2. The reason I think that is, Ben seems distraught and pleading (like he has hurt her and wants to somehow make it right or explain better maybe) and the person answering sounds like JoJo and her tone seems part hurt, part angry. Jmho. However, and all you expert sleuthers would know much better than me, the NO from JoJo may be from an entirely different situation. Though if it were, she did sound hurt/angry and I would wonder what had caused that.

Another thing I just thought about how are we sure that it is JoJo crying in the bathroom and not a voice over from someone else crying. Lord knows we had a lot of crying women this season.

So when he told JoJo he loved her, her reaction was surprise and "Can you say that?"  When he told Lauren he loved her, he prefaced it with validation of her, and she seemed to take it to heart and repeat her love for him.

Without it being said, I think that Ben knew how Lauren felt about him and he knew there was a possibility he would get an ILY on the FD.  He loved Lauren and knew how cautious and picky she was and felt like he had to say ILY back to her if she said it to him or she would hold back.  "No more holding back"  is what she said the morning after the FD.  In his discussions with the producers, he asked if he could say ILY back to Lauren and was given permission to do so only if he said it to more than one girl.  All of the girls were obviously coached to tell Ben they loved him - it was like they were all reciting their speeches on cue.

Now for the timing of the dates - knowing that JoJo's date was filmed first helps me understand how it could have all transpired.  JoJo said her little speech, he thought for a minute, and then said ILY back.  (Rushed as Lucas has pointed out.)  He did have feelings for her, he cared for her, and had a very comfortable relationship with her (see Bahama's conversation).  I cannot explain all of the ILYs other than to note that once the producers had this story line of saying ILY to both of the final 2, then they encouraged him to drop a few more including the final "Love you" as he was saying goodbye the next morning.  Lauren's date came next and there was no ILY during the daytime, no ILY at dinner, and finally (I'm sure with much encouragement from tptb) she said her speech in the FS and Ben eloquently reciprocated.  

I have not watched a season since Ali's Bachette. Chris L and Reid were my favorites and I am sure I would have been on Team Ben.  I am a teacher and on spring break this week - so I have watched the entire season this week and I am so grateful that we have truly been shown a love story between Lauren and Ben since night one.  If JoJo is the F1 then she should feel cheated!
Episode 1:  First out of the limo and the cute little chat
Episode 2:  Gave Lauren the picture at the cocktail party (veteran watchers, has that ever been done before?)
Episode 3: Best first date ever
Episode 4:  Rose on the group date and shot of her when JoJo and Ben kissed blown over by the helicopter
Episode 5:  Left everyone else and walked the streets of Mexico City
Episode 6:  The other girls are talking about how obvious the connection between them is, so Leah tries to turn Ben against her, but it does not work and Lauren comes out of it untarnished.
Episode 7:  Lauren gets the date in his hometown with his friends!!!  On the couch in his apt she says she talked a lot - too bad we did not get to hear it.
Episode 8:  Moved Lauren's hometown date from last to 2nd so it would not be so obvious and they both cried talking to her family about their relationship. When Lauren's dad asked him how he was handling talking to 3 other dads, Ben said, "not good." Knowing this is the last date makes that statement much more telling.
Episode 9:  Moved Lauren's FD from last to 2nd so JoJo's date would leave the last impression.

There is always a lot of kissing on this show and much of it seams forced.  However, with Lauren and JoJo I think there has been a lot of conversation thanks to Ben, and I wish we could have heard more of it. He is by far my favorite Bachelor. Usually I like the Bachelorette more than the Bachelor bc I like how the guys interact and cannot stand the cat fighting. Ben really did have a great group of nice girls. Many have said Lauren was boring, but the other girls seemed to like her, which says a lot since she was the obvious front runner most of the season.

I cannot wait for Monday night - I am hopeful for this relationship.  They are both young, but maybe if they get back to real life and date each other they can make it work.

that was 2 days ago and still nothing! until he, CH or Millsy say something, I dont take anything as official.

I wonder if TPTB have been getting a lot of brushback about Caila? When I look, there seems to be a lot of angry natives commenting . Things that make you go, hmm.
