The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Episode 6 - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

My friend's daughter just texted me (unspoiled, both of them) and they both think he sends Lauren B home and then calls her back.....and I think that is just what they want people to believe.
Remember them trying to make us thing Sean got some letter from Cat that was going to change everything??

Ben comes across as so insecure and confused in this episode and preview.  He certainly does not appear ready to propose.  Hopefully that is slice and dice edit and not reality at the FRC.

Actually there are a couple of scenes, among the less sliced and diced, where he looks ecstatic, relived, happy...

Agreed, I wouldn't take that preview at face value. I'm sure the masterminds/ producers, editors had to think out of the box to combat RS and his while, imperfect, pretty reliable track record. He probably was broken up to have to blindside Jojo. I really doubt he lets Lauren go at any moment. When he says, I'm so ready...I think he's picturing Lauren's face at that moment.

I have to say, I have never been a Becca fan, but she has grown on me. She seems like a very nice person.

IA. She seems very caring and normal - especially for someone who has gone on this show twice.
She has a calming presence about her - something both Chris Soules and Ben have brought up and I can see why. She strikes me as an old soul.

Regarding the preview of FRC and Ben on the phone...

... I believe it is his ex-girlfriend calling him.

It has nothing do to with Lauren B, imo.
