Yeah I wondered why Lauren B was crying too.

I sensed in epi 5, when Ben took Lauren for a walk, that the others were starting to see he was "all in" for Lauren. So someone going to Ben, out of jealousy to say something mean about Lauren in epi 6 would make sense.

And if Amanda defends her, it might explain why she gets the GDR (as giving it to lauren then would be overkill!)

Oh I didn't assume Lauren crying had anything to do with what Leah (or whoever ) tells him about a front runner. I thought that was unrelated but yes I guess it could be. Hurry up Monday! Kidding

As far as this "At that night’s after party one nervous lady attempts to get Ben’s attention at the expense of one of the frontrunner’s reputation." goes, I'm thinking it's potentially one of the girls telling Ben about Lauren B's old arrest, that's why we see her crying? I did read somewhere that her arrest does come up later in the season.

She was arrested for Drunk in Public or public intoxication at Coachella or Stagecoach or something , where apparently they arrested a lot of people at once. She probably tripped so they thought she was "drunk" and that's all or something Im guessing. That happened to one of my friends once. She literally stepped out of a cab on Halloween and tripped and they arrested her.

Public intoxication at Coachella last year I think. Lol nothing major. I'm sure she's completely embarrassed!

Her eyes do give her away though. They get red just as mine do. It sucks!

Dang the girls this season cry so freaking much!! I re watched the episode and noticed several girls crying, but it wasn't made a big deal. JoJo was crying when she was talking to Ben about sending Jubilee home/having respect for him (JoJo seems very sensitive actually. She cried when Haley went home too in that deleted scene.) Lauren B was crying as Olivia was crying/talking to her about "trying harder" at the cocktail party at the rose ceremony. And in back of Olivia, Emily is wiping tears away too! LOL.

Doesn't she wear the same clothes as at the end of ep 5? IMO the crying has to do with him not sending Olivia home and what that could mean.
