RS mentioned in his spoilers that Leah complained to Ben about not having a 1-on-1 at that point while Caila had the second one already. so maybe that refers to the the frontrunner bashing

You said it best, she sensors herself. I think this is why I think she is calculated and never comes across as genuine. I don't think she is a bad person, but I want to see a REAL person, doesn't matter whether it is sweet, mean, bitchy, flirty, whatever, I want to see her REAL personality instead of a beautiful facade.

I think it is a big leap to assume she is sensoring herself... Isnt TPTB doing that? How do we know she is?

Sophie perhaps it's the TPTB sensoring her and not showing the real Lauren B instead giving us this one dimensional "bland" or as some will say "sweet" persona, and in Jubilee's words "good girl always happy" cos that is what perfect Ben is attracted to.
Or It could be she is just aware of the cameras and is on her best behavior.

Or maybe the real LaurenB just is easygoing, not dramatic woman. If she has some issues, she's not shy to address them with Ben, though. She appreciates little things in life, loves her job, is close to her family. Not everyone is a 'look at me' or dramatic personality, and that's fine.

Imo no one is that happy all the time especially in the contest of this social experiment and this show. I don't need Lauren B to be dramatic, just the one dimensional persona is bland and boring, but that is what Ben wants and that is what matters. I wish they would show us she does have a personality. Like I said am indifferent and it could very well be editing.

Most of the contestant this season have shown no personality so except for Caila, Jojo and Jubilee imo..... nothing personal against Lauren B.

I agree that we are not seeing a lot of Lauren B's personality yet.  It is obvious she and Ben are attracted to each other and from the spoilers we know they are.  I sense we are seeing very little of her personality but what they want us to see.  She seems to assure Ben of her feelings in most the clips but I prefer to see more of their natural interaction and them having fun with each other--like what is making them "click" and fall in love with each other.   We will hopefully see more of this in upcoming epis's.    JMO.

No one thought her teaching Emily to do the tequila shot was funny? I don't get this not having a personality thing, she seems to have a great personality and energy about her. Seems she and Ben are always laughing and smiling. Everyone has a personality, hers is just upbeat and happy, seems how you'd want to be during this experience. She's also admitted her realism to Ben. Seems next week she gets emotional as well, so I'm sure there's many facets of her personality we haven't see yet.

Let's face it, Ben fell for her on that first date and his words that night were, "Lauren went from a girl I had fun with to someone I really got to dig deep w and talk about life with. She's special."

Everyone's big concern last year was Ben was boring and had no personality. But he does, it's just not this over the top dramatic personality that is good for tv. Perhaps why he and Lauren are such a good match.

Well, next episode she will cry like crazy so then she will be a little more dramatic

I think a lot was said during their walk. And their first date. The Olivia drama is taking up so much air time that I have no clue who Leah and Jennifer are, at all. I was looking forward to this cooking session just to see more normal interaction, like during the football, but even that was all about Olivia and Jubilee duelling for Ben.

Yes! I don't think not showing her talking to many girls indicates anything as it seems like she has build some pretty good friendships from the show. That scene with her and Emily taking a tequila shot was funny, you could see they were natural around each other. I'm guessing besides Amanda, she got on well with the twins, Jennifer, Caila and Becca (those are off the top of my head) based on their interactions on SM/things I noticed on the background on each episodes.

I also think her personality is not exactly tv show material, hence why people find her meh. Most people don't wanna watch reality shows to see normal    But hopefully we'll see more of her in the upcoming episodes

I'm getting so many Emily Maynard flashbacks. Feels like we barely got to know her too on Brad's season, and the other girls loved her too.
