Pretty much why I didn't like Ben this episode. I thought Jubilee was justified in her feelings and I hated when she groveled to him. His mind is already made up with Lauren B. 

She's such a downer imo. Obviously, they were just supposed to have fun with the Spanish lessons and it was producer driven. She just couldn't roll with it, which I think he found pretty unattractive. They didn't show it tonight, but there was a second preview of the spanish lessons and his face said it all. He even looked relieved  to be paired with Olivia over Jubilee. jmo.

This actually touches on a question I have been wondering is there a reason why she was always portrayed that way? Why didn't we get to see the fun Jubilee that Jojo mentioned? I think it was slightly overexaggerated with how miserable she was. One of the issues with Jubilee is she told Ben things he didn't want to hear and it probably was frustrating because she didn't want to play along.

I will say I'm surprised at Ben on BachLive given how Olivia's edit has been so negative that Ben wouldn't take the high road.
I mean, she is already so lambasted that playing into it/not saying something kind only adds to it.
But then, I guess when she leaves on a 2on1 date next week it has to be justified somehow.

I also feel like Ben is having to play a role on BachLive as well... he's always seemed "off" on that show... like he has been prepped to say certain things or do things.
I won't be surprised if that is the case.

IA.. at first I thought he was tired or nervous, but after 5 episodes, something does seem off with him.

Hmm. I can understand the non-answer. If he says her breath isn't bad he's making Emily look like a liar.

Ok I just watched the episode. Without reading about that promo, daaymn Lauren B and Ben have something. I mean he took her outside to see Mexico City because that was something that she wanted to do.

But the promo does create doubt, as all good promos do. I personally see a very similar storyline with Ben and Joelle (but really could be Lauren B at this point as well, who knows!) as I did Lana and Sam on the Aus Bach. Sam was ALL over Lana before he picked Snez - I mean like (sorry to use like) fully humping (complete with major butt grabbing) in a pool.

I can't pick it. I want to believe the spoilers, but until I get SC'd proof or another snapchat gate I guess I'm going to have to keep an open mind!

I also thought that he was tired/nervous but now I think Ben is being gagged by contract to have to play a "role" on Bachelor Live.
I think he is prepped and told what to do so it fits with the edit of the show.
It's totally out of character for Ben to kick someone when they are down (and Olivia definitely is, imo).

Is it just me, or is there a lack of emotion in Ben's eyes & tone when he says both ILYs.. like he's spent. Maybe it's just the awkwardness of the spliced up clips. It does appear the goodbye portion was extremely difficult.

This whole bad breath thing is weird. Ben was really into kissing Olivia early on.. did this breath issue develop later? I didn't watch the live show, but that's odd.

Regarding Ben on Bachelor Live and about loving two women... I think that was scripted. I believe confused feelings etc, but the way Ben was saying he loved two women on BL makes me think he was told to say that. No way do I think Ben would be saying that NOW especially considering his F1 unless she is cool with it, imo, and based on him saying it I think he was told to. I think Ben said that and will say similar on the show b/c TPTB want him to fit their narrative of drama. If Ben was falling for Lauren and had her as his F1 pretty much midway I wonder how much TPTB controlled the pecking order of the other girls and Ben had no say. I think they controlled it all from what I see. TPTB have a show to sell and one where they celebrate the past 20 Seasons by focusing on the DRAMA - that's their thing - and it seems since last year's foiler (which failed due to Kaitlyn) they are really scripting a LOT of that and making sure their leads fall in line (which Ben would have had to do after K's season). I cannot begin to imagine the guilt and pain Ben must feel for having to lead people on like that knowing he didn't want them but TPTB not letting him let them go. It's what he signed up for though....

ITA, I think he's told what to do and say. And I think that might be just putting him down too, acting a bit out if character to support the sl TPBP are writing and editing even if it goes against what really happened.

Just to point out, IMO Ben is equally all over LaurenB too, there's a lot of passion there. Did she bite his lip while kissing?! :cutesmile!: :cutesmile!: :cutesmile!:

This is weird. Ben DID say on Bach live that he fell in love with two people.. I don't think he'd reiterate that, if he didn't mean it/trying to put it out of his mind. He even said he didn't think he was going to see "that" (the in love with 2 talk.) this soon. Should be interesting going forward. It looks like Lauren is watching the full episodes, and I'm pretty sure she was watching bachelor live tonight based on some things she tweeted/faved.

Next week is a butt load of crying! Bring it on!
