The Bachelor 20 - Ben Higgins - Scaps - Discussion - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

Based on the clothes that Ben is wearing with his parents and with Jojo I'm inclined to think that her mtp was last as the lead usually talks to the parents about the F2 after meeting them both. Please correct me if I'm mistaken.

I don't think so because it's darker when Lauren is walking with CH towards Ben. It should be lighter if it's morning. I never worry about the dress but will say I can't stand Jojo's and don't find it flattering at all. All of this is speculation and jmo.


You can see the light on the leaves when Jojo is walking to see Ben.

No sun on the leaves here. Maybe a little light on their faces or hair which fits with later in the day.

Looks like a little bit of sun still when Ben makes his call prior to the f1 coming.

This seems to be similar to when Lauren is walking in.

Why would he need to talk to them twice? Seems redundant to me.

In the past, the lead gives the parents a run down of the 2 people they are going to meet and where he stands with them, before the first meeting.

bean and sophie, thank you. I was wondering about the daylight when I first saw the caps, but didn't have time to compare. It is definitely much lighter outside when JoJo arrives.

Couldn't the light also depend on which side of the camera the shots were taken? Don't think we can be certain that the cameras were at the same angles in these two shots, so it'll be hard to draw a solid conclusion, IMO.

Neither of the girls' dresses thrill me. Lauren's dress just looks basic, nothing special.

IMO it is later in the afternoon for Lauren not the camera angles.

No the camera angle doesn't have to be exactly the same to see the difference in the light. Unless TPTB messed with the lighting in all those scenes, Lauren arrived second based on the light/shadows and JoJo earlier in the day.

I think this is the shot that is most convincing...at least for me.

The only way for the sun to be at this angle and this hue is for the sun to be low in the horizon...near sunset or sunrise. Since sunrise was near 6:12am, it seems unlikely to me to be sunrise -- too early for filming, imo. Sunset was around 5:32pm -- a more likely filming time. (sunrise/sunset times)
