Given all the violence and the death threats and the rest of the BS, relating to this couple, on SM, something is seriously messed up. Unfortunately, we have no idea about what really happened this summer. Until D&A come out from under the NDA (and I wonder if even then they'll be tied up somehow, although Ryan D and Jessica suggest otherwise), everyone, myself included, is guessing. As is usually the case, the truth lies somewhere between the extremes: David isn't quite the angel we've seen, and neither is Ashley.

Sean was on probation for a felony at time of marriage. IMO, from what I learned from a cast member, part of Sean's probation was that he was not to leave the state of NJ. Production and the legal department got it worked out so he could go to Colorado and NYC. 
From what I understand, Davina was NOT TOLD these details about her groom before they were married!!! 

So much for trusting the show and their "experts".

The tweeter created the new account, to tweet those tweets. They are following 3 people and only tweeted 4 tweets and hasn't tweeted since. I sure hope there's more to that story if that is in fact the same David.  

I generally want to leave the room when conspiracy theories become the topic of discussion. NTL it seems very strange that an account is created solely to repeat unsubstantiated SM stories. Until links to the actual court and police records are produced... 'Nuff said.

Again, I am not an apologist for David. But I am tired of "I know someone who knows..." stories. Yeah, I know this guy who talked to the grounds keeper at Graceland and he said Elvis is still alive, too.

We all have the right to believe it or not. I have not concluded anything as I feel there's too much info we don't know to make any sort of opinion.

The David I see appears to be a very gentle, kind man.

An arrest record is not a conspiracy theory. This is a sleuthing site. We gather up the pieces and see if one piece of information leads to another. David or the show could clear it up for everyone, but so far they haven't. I'm not impressed with either David or Ashley, but if this is true, she did have a right to know about it before marrying him and/or he never should have been cast. jmo

To locate the court record under discussion in this thread visit the Arizona Supreme Court case look up website. You can search on the courts website in a number of ways including just using his name. In any event the case number is CR-2007001033, State of Arizona vs David Norton (born 5/1985). Again this is a public record. No idea whether it's the same person who was on this program but there are many points to correlate between the show participant and this record.

I looked at the Court Record for "David T.  Norton" DOB: May 1985
8/17/07: In custody
Ordered to attend Domestic Violence class

According to "Family Tree" David Norton from MAFS (Born in NY, Currently in Atlanta, born May 1985) does have "T" as middle name. 
Linkedin lists  David Norton was employed in Phoenix, AZ at the time of the arrest. Peoria is in the Greater Phoenix area.

I believe that is the same David, since too many details match, but I don't believe a knife was involved. A weapon being involved would've made it a felony and I highly doubt he would've avoided jail time if that was the case. Surely he would've been given probation at least. Sean was on probation for a DUI and he was a first time offender too, wasn't he?

My take on the charges is he maybe broke a vase, punched a wall etc if he threatened his girlfriend with a knife it from my understanding he could have been charged with aggravated assault just by threatening her with the knife even without having ever touched her. If a knife was involved I would think they would charge him with the most serious crime even if he plead down later.

I am not an expert just watch too many true crime shows.

Linkedin lists dates of David's employment in AZ

A Google search led me to Family Tree, which shows exactly what crazy chicken found. Unable to link, as it is on a personal account. Crazychicken posted a screen shot of the info, which matches David's DOB, residence and mom and sister. Confirms his sister as Carrie and NY birth. David's middle initial is T. According to Family Tree his father's name was Timothy and died when David was 7, as David stated on air.
