The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

RS's WTA spoilers are up and he says Caila, Jubilee, Olivia and Lace were the 4 in the hot seat. Yay no Becca or Amanda as the Bachelorette.

For the one selected...Is part of the prize package a personal trainer so she/he can tone up before the gig?  If so..does anyone know if the show uses the same trainer every time?

Caila.  Looking forward to her season.  It seems her media tour has already started.  There are some good interviews from her after the WTA.  I particularly like the one from Glamour that is linked in another thread.

  .  I was just commenting on this in the WTA thread.  I didn't think they had a chance but you never know what TPTB will do so that's a relief. 

Bring on Caila or (IMO the actual front runner) Jojo.  Based on the reaction last week, Jojo is going to be one very talked about woman about a week and a half from now.  Plus, the guys would be crazy about her IMO.  And she can bring the tears and the drama and the sex appeal they really need in a lead. Either way I'll be happy though.  Both beautiful, articulate girls.

What does being in the hot seat have to do with being Bette?
Is that because WTA is where they establish that the gals are "moving on"? Healed from not feeling anything real in the first place?

For the most part all it means is production is giving these cast people more camera time. So if production feels these are the cast they should focus on, it could mean more camera time for other projects. It could also be a bridge for further story lines.
If production chooses not to give a cast person camera time, it's a message that cast person does not rate.

I think it's weird that they brought Olivia, Lace, AND Jubilee in the hot seat. 3 villains basically. Then Caila , just because she was last eliminated. I don't think that means she is the Bachelorette though. RS says it's looking like it's Caila. But that's just his guess, he doesn't know anything for sure yet. Still could be JoJo IMO, even though RS says he doesn't think it will be just because they have never done an F2 before (not counting trista). I am still holding out hope that producers will figure out how to make JoJo it, since in my opinion she is the fan favorite.

It will be easy for her to get over Ben because I don't think she ever loved him in the first place. JMO. I think her interest has always been the next lead.

Just for what it's worth, on Chris' season, Britt was first up, mainly because of her feud with Carly.  Kelsey the Villain was next in the hot seat to "explain" why the girls didn't like her.  Kaitlyn was there to tell how horrible it was to be dumped at #3, and the new Bachelorette.  And then we had Ashley Salter and Jade, both whom ended up on BIP2.

So maybe the girls this season that ended up in the hot seat are simply following a new and loosely established pattern. Olivia the Villain, The Next Bachelorette Caila, and then Jubilee & Lace, possibly headed for BIP3.

Just my take.  It seemed like a pattern emerging, but it could just be random chance.

Why would they want Caila. I mean, why? She is a great person but doesn't make for good TV, and this has got nothing to do with her personality. People simply didn't connect with her as much as the others. Just take a look at her SM following, she couldn't even garner enough sympathy followers, which happened in spades for Amanda.

If the producers are being honest about feeling the pulse of the viewers before making a decision about the next lead, it is crystal clear that Caila falls short. She is liked by a number, but faaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrr from being a fan favourite.

Alternatively, I also feel it would be unfair to the guys who sign-up for the season to deal with the choice of dating a mother of two. Many of them would lie and say they are ready to be a dad, and that won't be fair to Amanda too.
