The Bachelorette - Season 12 - Potential Lead - *Sleuthing - Spoilers*

I think Jake is making their friendship out to be bigger than it is. They seem more like acquaintances. If anyone is friends it's Jake and Ben.

I don't think using the phrase , "my very good friend" is exaggerated. But then with Jake, that's just the problem. Very good is different from just good friends. I think they are close and that turns me off from Jojo alone. Jmo

I see no reason why Jake would call JoJo his very good friend if they aren't very good friends.

Just because Jake says they're friends doesn't mean they are. It appears there's no proof that JoJo has even seen him since the beginning of January 2013. IMO

I get that, but he's complimenting JoJo here, wishing her good luck on the show. There's nothing for him to gain .

I hope JoJo gets the gig as I think she'd be engaging and a choice that guys would favor. Just watch the deleted scene from her date with Ben in Vegas where he calls her "one heck of a woman". They appeared to have had a good time.  It had a lot of natural banter, playfulness and ease about it. So, I think she could handle the situation as the lead.

At first I thought Caila would get the gig as she narrated quite a lot but she has sort of unraveled a bit as the season progressed. I also see a number of comments on SM that she comes across as inauthentic.

If authenticity was a requirement for becoming a Bachelor or Bachelorette, I think the whole series would have ground to a halt with Trista. *LOL*

No. It has to do with what TPTB want. How they view ratings will be. SM is probably one factor only.
