"Smart" Kaitlyn would probably say she is smarter than Shakespeare.  

That's true, she does 'think' she's smart.

I can't think of one smart thing she has accomplished. So far, she has displayed the opposite of how to deal with bullies, she has encouraged others getting through sober January is no big deal because Feb 1st you can drink once again into oblivion, because she's smart.

IMO She needs an intervention. The problem is, it won't work unless she want's to change. She has no intention of changing. Hopefully one day she'll wake up and learn from her mistakes.

I don't know.  I just see a lot of insecurity here.  Lots of times people post/say things for affirmation - she needs people to agree with her and tell her that she is smart.  

With regards to her drinking - I think part of it is the party image she wants to project.  Her younger fans may think it's cool that she likes to party and drink lots of wine.  So again by posting so much about drinking, she is getting the affirmation from those fans that she's cool since she likes partying and drinking.  It may be cool to the 21 year old crowd by but age 30, it starts to look pathetic.  I think if she found something that would give her more purpose/responsibility and accountability she might not feel the need to party so much. jmho

ETA: Right now, she seems to lack direction and even her involvement and interest in Shawn's program seems minimal at this point.

I assumed she was always kind of a party girl and enjoyed alcohol, but I don't recall her making a point to mention it so often. Strange. I also thought that maybe she thinks it makes her seem cool or funny.
